Thirsty

Ask and ye shall receive

You looked at Marcy across the room. When you first caught sight of her she immediately stood out to you.
It wasn't her looks, but something drew you to her, it was literally love at first sight.
You began to drink some water from your cup.
Suddenly, you felt a whisper in your ear. "Why are you so thirsty?"
You choked on your water momentarily and whipped your head around. "Y/f/n, you chose a really interesting moment to show up."
"Still crushing on Marcy?" Y/f/n asked with a knowing smirk.
"I do not like Marcy." You stated with a blank face.
"Oh my god is Marcy taking off her shirt?"
You blushed and hid your head away.
"I knew it! You like her, you like her~" They said in a sing song voice.
"Say another word and I will rip your head right off your shoulders," you threatened.
"Ok, point taken. You should go talk to her!"
"Eh, I'll probably embarrass myself it's fine."
Suddenly, the bells chime rung through the halls.
"Phew," you said to yourself. "Saved by the bell."
You ran to your next class.
As you sat down at you're assigned seats, there was an announcement from the teacher.
"Okay class, this isn't something we usually do but due to an undisclosed reason we're moving the seat arrangements."
There were a few names and yours was last.
"Y/n L/n and Marcy Wu!"
You're heart skipped a beat as she came and sat next to you.
You were just writing down a couple of notes when you heard Marcy say "Dammit I forgot my pen."
You shuffled through your pencil case and pulled out a blue pen.
You quickly wrote a note on an A5 paper and slid it over to her.
Here, you can keep it.
She smiled and wrote something on the back and slid it back over to you.
Thanks, you're Y/n right?
Yep. You're Marcy?
Yeah. You seem pretty cool. Friends?
You blushed a bit and wrote back another note.
