"No!"

I wrapped my hands around Ghost's neck and tried to choke him.

"You're going to bed and that is that! Now let me go."

Ghost threw me onto my bed and shut the door.

"Get fucked in the ass with no lube, asshole!"

"Go to sleep."

I crossed my arms and huffed but soon realized Ghost wouldn't know I was throwing a tantrum so I got up and changed.

I flipped on my bed and began to think about life and everything that led me to this moment.

From running away from home, learning the way of the streets, learning to defend myself, stealing, killing, sleeping around for money, and now I'm here.

I got up and tried the door.

It was unlocked.

I poked my head out and saw the clock.

3:22 am.

I slowly snuck over to Ghost. His eyes were shut.

"I don't sleep my ass. AGH!"

I was picked up and pinned down on the bed.

I let out a groan and tried to free my hands.

"I thought you were asleep."

"I heard you open the door, I wanted to see what you would do."

"And so instead of waiting to see what I would do, you pin me? You're real good at investigation."

He hummed but didn't respond.

"Now let me go."

"No, I don't think I will."

"What, why not?!"

"You'll just try to escape again. I'll keep you here and keep an eye on you."

"I just want to watch TV! Is that so wrong?"

"It is when you're supposed to be asleep."

"Well, I'm not tired."

"That's to bad. It's late, go to sleep. We train tomorrow."

"I'll pass. I want to watch TV!"

"You're a 30 year old woman, stop throwing 5 year old tantrums."

"I can kick and scream if you'd like."

"Bloody hell." Ghost picked up a control and turned the tv in his room on.

"Yay!"

I settled down and watched the soap opera that played.

"Ohhh! Plot twist."

"Mhm"

I glanced at Ghost. It's been thirty minutes and Mr. "I don't sleep" is slipping into dream land.

I slipped the control from his hand and turned the volume down. Soon, Ghost's eyes closed and his breath evened out.

"Yay!" I stepped out from the bed and crept towards the door.

Thankfully, it was well oiled and didn't make a sound as I snuck out.

Food, food, food.

What do we have to snack on?

"Ohh, Girl Scout cookies! My favorite."

I opened the box and walked to the main door.

It's open!

What dumbasses.

I opened the door and shivered from the cold wind.

"Jesus fuck..."

I began my walk around the base and finally found what I'd been searching for.

The broken down building on the tallest hill.

I closed the box and wiped the crumbs from my lips before biting down on the packaging and climbing up the building.

Finally making it to the roof, I laid down and used some debris as a pillow.

The stars are amazing out here.

There's nothing like clear sky's in a dark environment where the stars shine brighter than you've ever seen.

I remember the first time I actually saw the stars in the night sky.

I had run away from home already.

I had just escaped some men I stole from and collapsed to the ground exhausted.

When I opened my eyes, there they were.

There they were.
