I laid on top of the white, now stained and wet, hotel sheets with Ghost next to me.

I laid my head on Ghost's chest, smiling after multiple rounds.

I glanced up at Ghost.

He had one hand folded behind his head and the other hand held his cigarette to his lips.

He glanced down at me and blew out the smoke.

"I love you."

"I love you." He replied before taking a drag of his cigarette.

I yawned and closed my eyes.

I'm tired.

I still don't know if Ghost heard me talking to Steve last night. He does seem a bit cold, but then why would he marry me if he heard?

None of this makes sense.

I ended up falling asleep.

When I woke up, Ghost wasn't in bed. I looked around and found him smoking out on the balcony.

I grabbed a robe and joined him.

"What's wrong?"

Ghost didn't look at me. He just kept smoking.

"Is this...Do you...was marrying me a mistake?"

Ghost didn't look at me but blew out a puff of smoke.

"Of course not."

"Then why won't you look at me?"

He finally looked down at me.

"It's just all getting real now. That's all."

"I'm sorry. If you need more time, I can leave and-"

"No. Don't leave me."

"Okay...I won't..."

"Go to bed."

"I don't wanna leave you."

"I'll go back in a bit. Let me just finish this cigarette."

I sighed and crossed the doorway but stopped. I put a hand on the doorframe and glanced back nervously.

"Ghost?"

"Yes, YN?"

"If this is about what I told Steve... listen, I didn't mean it. I just needed to tell him something so he'd-"

"I don't know what you're talking about. Go to bed."

I frowned.

"Okay..."

I climbed back into the bed and hugged myself.

I feel like I fucked up. He said I didn't but he's acting cold. I need to get him to believe me.

I closed my eyes and was half asleep when I heard the balcony doors close and Ghost's quite steps crossed the room.

I peaked over and saw ghost staring at me from the chair facing the bed.

He just stared. I didn't know what to do so I closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

But I could still feel his eyes on me.

I felt like prey. I felt uncomfortable.

Why is he just watching me?

Eventually I was to tired to think and passed out.

When the sun came up, Ghost was gone.

I asked and looked around for him but he was gone.

"It's time to go." Nik said loading up the bags into the helicopter.

"But Ghost isn't here yet. I'm not leaving without him."

"There he is!"

I tired around to see Ghost walking towards us with his backpack.

"There you are, I was worried sick!"

"Sorry. I had to do something."

I opened my mouth to ask him what he was doing but he climbed into the chopper and disappeared.
