(Ya'll crazy for waking me up to 350 notifications average here on wattpad almost every day so far! I love you all so much! Take care!)

"There's someone in here!"

Huh?

I winced as the light hit my eyes and I was surrounded by people.

"Help her out of there!"

"Get away from me!"

"We're here to help, ma'am!" I was pulled out of the hole and someone called for a medic.

I looked around for 141 as I was led to a tent but there was no sign of them.

I winced as they began working the bullet out of my shoulder.

"You're a brave woman, most would be screaming in pain." The woman smiled as she sewed up my shoulder.

"Let's just say this isn't my first bullet."

"I see you're wearing tactical gear."

"Let's pretend I'm not."

"Medic! We need a medic!"

"I'll be back in a bit. You just rest!" She ordered and ran out of the tent.

I looked around and stepped off the cot.

I'm leaving.

They left me here.

I was down there for three days.

Three damn days.

And not one search party.

Not one attempt to find me.

I'm out of here.

I poked my head out and saw everyone was to busy to pay me any mind.

I walked out of the tent and casually walked out of the group of makeshift shelters.

It was a desert.

Dusty, hot and annoying.

I kept walking, not knowing where I was headed, no idea where I would finally end up.

I walked for two days before I reached a town.

It was dark and the streets abandoned.

I looked around until I found a small grocery shop.

I broke the glass and walked in.

If there's an alarm, which I doubt, it's a silent one.

I have to be quick.

I'm going home.

I'm going to take back my territory, I'm going to go back to my old work.

I found some bread and cooked meat so I ate it and left.

It took me a week to get back to my hiding place.

An underground house with a rock covering the mile long entrance.

No one had taken over yet.

Makia knows where this is so she must have stopped by, I don't remember this shirt being here. I showered and got dressed, taking the stitches out of my arm.

Surprisingly, it didn't get infected.

I'm never going back.

I need to get Makia out but in a way I never have to go back.

I'll call Stacy. She'll organize a group and get her out.

I laid down on my bed and sighed.

I was all cried out. I didn't care what happened to 141.

I didn't.

They abandoned me.

They didn't think twice.

I was just an asset.

I wasn't human to them.

Just a tool.

and I won't forgive them for that.

I closed my eyes and for the first time in about a week, I fell asleep.

Ghost's POV

"Ghost?"

I ignored Soap as he opened my bedroom door.

"Ghost, you have to eat... YN would want you-"

"DON'T tell me what YN would have wanted. We should have gone back for her!"

"Ghost, a building collapsed on her. There's no way she made it out alive."

"We could have at least collected her body... given her a proper funeral..."

"It would have been more painful to see her like that. It's better if you remember her the way you last saw her..."

"What does it matter? She's gone. Nothing will bring her back."
