It's All Started With A Lie

Chapter- 46 Accident!

Authors POV

"I am going to the library and will go to the radio station directly," Naina texted Arnav while waiting for the signal to cross the road.

Within seconds, she got a reply from him- "Be careful." She smiled, looking at his text, and put her phone back in her pocket to cross the road.

She was waiting for the signal to cross the road when she saw a small puppy running on the road and a girl yelling at the puppy to come back.

Vehicles are passing by fastly and that puppy is trying to get out of that flow of vehicle.

Naina panicked and ran to it out of fear that any vehicle could hit the puppy. She took the puppy into her hands when a car was about to hit it.

"Thank God," she sighed and looked down at the puppy in her hands.

"You can't run on the road when vehicles are passing," she said, smiling at the puppy and gave it to the girl who came running for the puppy.

But she can't run on the road like that either, reminding her that a car hit her.

The girl screamed when the car hit Naina.

She fell on her back and hurt her leg and hand. She tried to sit but her head spun like a cricket ball and she fell on the ground, unconscious.

The next time she opened her eyes, she met with Arnav's panicked eyes as he was taking her to hospital. She tried to talk to him, but her eyes closed again and all she could see was darkness.

After an unknown period of time, she woke up and saw the surroundings all white. White curtains are swaying in the air, all the room is in white theme and there are white roses beside her bed. Strangely, she was also wearing white... This was the place she never visited.

'Did I die in the accident? Is this heaven? Wow, I came to heaven then... but how is Arnav? Is he crying for me?'

'I only heard of heavens in stories but never visited. Finally, I can see the heaven'

'Uff, what is holding my hand this tight? Could you allow me to feel this heaven? She thought and tried to take her hand back, but it was in a firm grip.

When she tried to pull her hand again, she felt moments near her hand so she looked down and found Arnav holding her and he was looking like he just woke up from sleep. His eyes are red and his hair, which is always arranged neatly, is messy now.

"What are you doing here?" Naina asked, shocked.

'It's her who met with an accident and died. Then what is Arnav doing in heaven? Last time when I opened my eyes, he was still alive then how he died' her thoughts wandering looking at his face.

"How are you feeling, butterfly?" he asked with concern.

"I am alright, but why are you in heaven?" she asked him.

"Heaven?"

"Yeah, isn't it heaven?" she questioned.

"No, it is not," he chuckled. "It is a hospital"

"Didn't I die and come to heaven?" she asked, confused.

"No, baby... you met with an accident and I took you to the hospital," he stated.

"Wait, I will call the doctor," he said and went out to call the doctor, leaving confused Naina there.

Within a few minutes, Arnav came back with the doctor Sanvi. She checked her and removed the IV drip, then only Naina felt pain and looked at the wires which were connected to her.
