Chapter- 69 Is this the end...?

We are not meant to be still, we met each other...

We planned our life together even though they are opposing it but destiny has another plan for us... It played its role to make us separate...

Through the unshed tears, I looked at him one last time... Remembering the smiles we shared... The love we found in each other... the comfort which no one can ever give me...

With a shivering hand, I touched his cheek one last time... hoping it can't be the last but I know the best that it won't happen in this life...

With trembling lips, I kissed him one last time... Caressing the memories of our happy days... Feeling miserable for our broken promises... Cursing our pathetic fate...

With a thumping heart, I hugged him one last time... Feeling the warmth of his embrace... Grieving over our crushed dreams... Looking at how my world turned upside down...

While hiding my pain, I held his hand one last time which perfectly filled the gap between my fingers... Remembering our romantic night walks under the starry sky planning our future together not knowing our lives are going to fall apart...

With tearful eyes, I smiled at him one last time, controlling my pool of tears which were threatening to fall as I wanted him to remember my face with a smile... I want him to smile whenever he remembers me...

With one last goodbye, we parted ways and I started walking with a heavy heart carrying all the love which he left me, thinking about the miserable life which I am going to spend without him.

I never turned around to see him again because if I do then I can't walk away from him again...

Naina wrote the last lines of her book and printed it down.

"Why do you always send your books through post but not by email," Jessica asked Naina when she gave the hardcopies to her to post to the publishing house.

Jessica is her friend com assistant com editor.

"They can trace me through the mail," Naina replied lightly as she knows Arnav is waiting for her to make any wrong move to catch her.

It's been one year she left him and all her loved ones and came to an unknown place just to make them live a peaceful life but who is gonna tell her that no one is peaceful in her absence. Her absence is hurting them more than the things which happened to them because of her.

She stopped smiling and her eyes lost the shine which used to sparkle whenever she saw Arnav. She lost so much weight as she was only eating when she remembers that she has to eat to be alive.

She always cries herself to sleep. She is no longer the Naina whom we used to know. She is not that crazy and clumsy girl.

She is no longer that clumsy, talkative and funny Naina, she became a new person with calmness and silent behavior.

"Why did you even come here when you have those many loving people? And why did we leave Australia and come to Italy?" Jessica asked.

"I met someone in Australia who will give Arnav my location and she even took a photo of mine," Naina responded thinking about the time she met Aadhya in Australia.

She actually went to Australia lying to her parents that she is living in the states. But one day Aadhya saw her when she came for a meeting.

As soon as she came back to her place after meeting Aadhya, she left there and came to Italy after leaving a note there in her home for Arnav.
