Hello, I'm Grace, the founder of The Opalescent Community!

𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲. 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂! 𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗽𝗮𝗱? 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁?
Hi, it's nice to meet you too! Well, I love Wattpad, and once I found out about communities, I just had to join one. But that just didn't cut it for me. Not to mention that it was basically impossible to find one that wasn't Discord based. So, I decided to make my own community. One where you didn't have to have Discord so everyone could join.
The name is a funny story. It went through many stages before I settled on one. It was originally going to be The Gem Community, but that was taken. Then I went through a couple of gemstones for a name. Then it was almost The Opal Community. But after some thinking, I decided The Opalescent Community was the best name. It could still have opal themed colours, but it was something new.
Now, the theme was a bit tricky. I could have made a theme, but I wanted it to be the best it could be. So after a bit of searching, I decided on pammipurnima to make the theme. She was extremely sweet during the entire process, never once faltering.

Yes, I am. Well, it takes patience to run the community by myself, but I can't take all the credit. It also requires understanding from all of the community members, and I'm grateful to them for that. I'd say it's harder than I imagined, but I prepared myself for difficulty when I got into this.
