Oceanus is the Titan of the Ocean and the river that encircles the world, representing the vast, unending expanse of water. The name "Oceanus" itself translates to "Ocean" or "Great River," emphasising his role as the divine personification of the ocean.
As the eldest of the Titans, Oceanus holds a significant position, embodying the concept of the primordial waters that existed before creation.
𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧:
He fathered a multitude of river gods and nymphs known as the Oceanids, including Metis, Doris, and Styx
𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐬:
Oceanus is often depicted with a serpent-like tail, a trident, and surrounded by various fish and aquatic creatures, symbolising his dominion over the waters.

Oceanus is usually portrayed as a calm, neutral force in mythology. His daughters sometimes aid goddesses, such as Hera during her conflict with Zeus.
