𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞: Gaia
𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: Primordial Goddess of the Earth
𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Chaos (Creation)

𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧:
Being the Goddess of the Earth, Gaia is the mother earth figure and is seen as the mother of all gods, while also being the seat on which they exist. She was also often invoked in oaths by the Greeks as they believed she should be aware if one broke his oath.

She parthenogenetically gave birth to Uranus (Sky), who later became her husband. Together, they have three sets of children-the Titans, the Cyclopes, and the Hecatoncheires.

𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧:
She produced Uranus (Sky), Pontus (Sea) and the Ourea (Mountains) by herself. Through Uranus, she gave birth to Oceanus, Coeus, Crius, Hyperion, Crius, Theia, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phobe, Tethys, Cronus. She also conceived the Cyclopes, Brontes (Thunder), Steropes (Lightning) and Arges (Bright), along with the Hecatonchires, Cottus, Briareos and Gyges.

𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐬:
As each of the Cyclopes and Hecatonchires were born, Uranus, disgusted by their ugliness, hid them in a secret place within Gaia, causing her great pain. Thus, she created a grey flint or adamantine sickle which she gave to Cronus who castrated Uranus.
