With out many words, I was escorted to a SUV by Grant, with Abby hot on our heels at the underground car park. Grant opened the door to the passenger side motioning me in before closing the door. Once seated, I hear muffled yelling and see Abby and Grant have yet another argument outside. Grants the first to walk away as he shakes his head, coming around the front of the car to the driver's side.

Abby huffs out and hops in the back, she sits directly behind me as Grant opens his door before slamming it shut. He turns on the car, tilting his head back to reverse out.

When we hit the high way we sit yet again in silence, I can hear Abby doing something in the back but I don't feel comfortable asking. However as the quiet car journey goes on, the silence drives me to the point where it becomes unbearable.

"Is someone going to tell me who those two Danny Zuko wannabes were?" I say, thinking about their style, gelled yet greasy hair accompanied with worn leather jackets, they looked like they were from the musical Grease.

Grant grunts a laugh out turning to me, when seeing my serious expression he frowns and turns his attention back to the road.

"They are from the Sypris Pack, there territory is where we are right now." He informs me, giving me a quick glance." We had arranged a agreement today for our pack members to come to the mall."

I understand now why they said it's their territory but something else doesn't add up from that answer." But he called me a rogue?"

Grant sighs." Well, were a pretty small pack compared to others so today at the mall, those guys are stationed there to intercept any potential dangerous people, they are pretty familiar with our pack members but seeing a new face they were suspicious ... I mean, it could have been avoided if someone didn't leave your side."

I hear from the back a dramatic sigh." Firstly, Brooke left me, not the other way around." Abby facts, which is true. I am about to butt in on what I think about having to be babysat all the time but Abby continues." And secondly, I think she can take care of her self... You got to teach me that move, Brooke."

Completely confused at what she is talking about, I crane my neck to look over my shoulder to see Abby watching something on her phone screen.  Her eyes move from the screen to see me watching, she smiles that cheeky smile before turning around her phone. The video is a little grainy so it takes me a while to see it is actual security footage of the grocery store. The screen flashes to me getting caught in a headlock, before flipping the guy over and knocking the other person down again as he had just gotten up.

I bite my lip." Um... how did you get that?"

" We have some friends who work security in the mall, don't worry they will delete it." Abby waves it off and I turn back around in my seat and relax again. My neck is still a little stiff from the high graded defense move I had performed less the half an hour ago.

As I am rolling my neck to stretch it another question comes to mind from what happened today." When that guy found me, he was able to sniff me and tell me I was pregnant, He called me a rogue even though I am technically not a werewolf, but I think he was able to sense that the baby was werewolf and-"

I am cut of by Grant." What exactly is your question Brooke?"

I take a deep breath, annoyed that he interrupted me but embarrassed that I was rambling." That night, When Abby and I arrived at the pack house you knew the baby was yours when you put you hand on my stomach... I guess it just got me thinking about how that worked."

Grants hands tighten on the steering wheel. I sit and wait for answer and when I think I won't get one, he speaks up." Well Tim, that guy today was a Tracker and they have a unique sense of smell. I can just about smell the baby to, but Shadows have never been known for there good smell... we share certain connections. Its more of a mental sense of awareness, a feeling and that night I felt a connection and... I don't know who to explain it..."
