Chapter 48

*Autumn's POV*

I pulled on my black Lace peplum mini dress, which was figure hugging.
I contoured my face to near perfection; and curled the ends of my hair.
I finally stepped into my black strappy block heels, and straped them up.

I sat on the end of the bed on my phone, where i waited for Joe to finish showering and changing in the bathroom.

*Joe's POV*

As i walked out of the bathroom door Autumn's head jolted up; she suddenly put her phone down and stood up.

I just stared at her for a moment- admiring her beauty, and i caught her blushing.

'You look so beautiful' i complimented her.

'Well i kinda feel dressed down compared to you' she giggled, 'but thank you'.

I was just wearing a black suit and tie, nothing special. But i wanted it to be special. So i'm glad she approved.

'That's a lie' i chuckled, placing a small kiss on her soft lips.

We ended up at an upper class restaurant, sitting across from each other on a two person table.

As she scanned the menu i dazed into her eyes, mesmerised by the pools of blue. She was honestly the most perfect person i had ever met, and ever seen. I was so so lucky.

*Autumn's POV*

I ordered a steak and fries, and Joe asked for what i had.

When the waiter walked away me and Joe got into a convocation about his YouTube. His subscriber count was now 5million. I couldn't believe how much it had grown!

Eventually, our food arrived and the sudden waft of it made my stomach rumble.

I tried to eat maturely, but my hunger got the better of me. Joe started to laugh at me, but i didn't care, it tasted too good.

After i at it all, my stomach was full and satisfied. I sipped on my drink to wash it down; when i noticed Joe fiddling with his thumbs. He looked really on edge, what was wrong?

'Joe, what's up?' I asked.

'N-nothing, i'm fine. Is it okay if we leave in a bit? I need to show you somewhere' he said quickly, and eagerly.

I did as he said and finished my drink, whilst Joe payed the bill.

We walked out of the restaurant, 'lè Jourdain' , hand in hand. Him leading me to the mystery location soon to be found out.

We seemed to be walking for a while, and my feet began to ache.

'Joe my feet hurt' i pouted.

'Hop on my back then' he chuckled.

At first i didn't know if he was serious, but he insisted. So I jumped on his back and we walked like that for the rest of the way.

I was in that much of a daze i didn't realize we had come to a sudden stop. At first, i was confused. Until i looked up- it was the Eiffel Tower.

'We're going here?!' I exclaimed excitedly.

'Yeah- you've always said you wanted to come here, so i thought, why not make it happen?' He said with a cute grin.

After reaching as high as we could go, i looked out into the far distance of Paris. It was so beautiful at night, all of the lights illuminated the art of France.
I took it all in, and inhaled the brisk evening air. And then it made me think how happy i was.. How happy Joe made me.
