Ch 7

The next day was the day of their first show in Toronto. The place was huge, and it was such a gorgeous day out that they had opened the roof. The boys were doing the first sound check, and then after that was the VIP sound check party. I could hear the screaming girls already.  I was on twitter, interacting with a few of the fans when I got a call on the blackberry. “Hello?”   I said into the phone. “Hi Lexi it’s Simon.” I hear from the other end. Why was Simon calling? Had I done something wrong? “Hello Mr Cowell, what can I do for you?” I asked, trying to hide the worry in my voice. “ I just wanted to call and say that you are doing a very good job. The fans response to the amount of interaction you do with them on behalf of the boys is wonderful. I was wondering if you could convince them to do a live stream tomorrow before their show? They haven’t done one in a while and I think it would be good to boost them up a bit more.” He said. I sighed in relief. “Sure. I will talk to them once they are done sound check.” I said with a smile. “Great. Keep up the good work Lexi. I can see Harry and Niall made the right choice.” He said before the line went dead.

I wandered around until the boys were done and met them in their dressing room. “Hey guys I need to talk to you.” I said as I walked in. I could see they all looked a bit worried and I couldn’t help but smile. “Simon called. He wants you boys to do a live stream  tomorrow before your show.” I could see the relief cross their faces. “That sounds good. We have a 20 minute break at some point I think that we could use.” Liam said. “we haven’t done one in a long time, I thinks it’s a great idea.” Zayn added. The other boys nodded in agreement.

While I was checking twitter and replying to a few DM’s, Harry came up behind me, placing a hand on my shoulder, making me jump. “Jesus Harry.” I said. He just chuckled. “Did you have fun with Niall last night?” He asked. I turned to look at him, and couldn’t help but see what looked like a bit of jealousy in his eyes. “Yea I did. You all left us alone so we decided to grab some food. It was really good. Its too bad you couldn’t join us, it would have been fun.” I smiled, hoping I made it sound like it was just a dinner between friends. I don’t know why. He just smiled back at me. “Maybe next time we will all go.” He said. I just nodded. “ That would be fun.” I said, smiling at him so he knew I meant it.  Just then he was called to do the sound check party and walked off.

I took advantage of the time alone and texted Kat to see if she was busy. A minute later my phone rang, Kat calling me. I answered and talked to her for a while, telling her what had happened in the last few days, and finally telling someone how I was feeling about it. “ I like them both Kat and I don’t want to hurt either of them. Should I just forget it and tell them both that I only like them as friends?”   I asked her. “I think you should keep going. Don’t tell either of them that you like them both. Just see where your feelings lead. If you end up falling for them both, then just tell them you just like them as friends. But don’t lead them on. If you end up liking one more than the other make sure you tell them both.” My roommate told me. It sounded like a good plan. “Thanks Kat. I miss you so much.” I said. We talked for a little bit longer before we hung up and I went to join the boys.

The show was amazing. I couldn’t believe how loud they got in Canada. I mean Europe was crazy, but these Canadian girls were something else. The boys signed stuff and took pictures outside after the show before being rushed into the car. I couldn’t believe that Niall and Louis still had so much energy. They were goofing off in the car, obviously annoying the others who were clearly tired. Once we got back to the hotel though they seemed to have crashed. I said goodnight to them and headed to my own room to get ready for bed.
