Birthday Cuddles

Alec smiled as he walked into his shared apartment he had with Magnus. He had been on a mission the past week, a mission to find out when Magnus birthday was. Magnus told NOBODY his birthday, it was always a secret. That was until Alec shook down Catarina and ended up making her crack. Alec had a plan for his handsome warlock.

Alec hummed to himself as he sat all his stuff down and walked into the one room Magnus was always in, his office. Magnus seemed to never stop working on the weekdays, he always had a client and he always wanted to just die after. Alec walked behind the agitated warlock and wrapped his arms around his shoulders and kissed his cheek.

"Hi Mags" Alec hummed and started to rub his shoulders and Magnus smiled softly.

"Hi Alexander, how was the institute?" Magnus asked as his eyes fluttered to a close. He liked this feeling.

"It was crowded and loud. Like usual. How was your day?" Alec asked him softly as he started to press gentle kisses into his neck, rubbing at Magnus tense shoulders.

"Aggravating and obnoxious, until you came home of course" Magnus said softly.

Alec hummed against his neck and Magnus felt like he was in heaven. Alec picked up Magnus and carried him into the bedroom and laid down with him. Magnus snapped them into their pajamas which included Magnus being in black boxers and one of Alec's sweaters and Alec being in his black sweat pants.

Alec held Magnus close as they intertwined their legs and faced each other. Alec gave Magnus gentle caresses and touches as Magnus eyes stayed closed and he enjoyed the peace of the moment. No Jace, No Clary, No Izzy, No Simon. Just him and his shadowhunter. That's all he could ever want.

"I love you, Magnus"Alec hummed softly.

"I love you too, sweet pea" Magnus whispered out. Alec started peppering kisses on Magnus neck and loving the reaction he got from him.

"Happy birthday, my love" Alec whispered to him softly.

Magnus smiled peacefully as he slowly started to drift asleep. "Thank you, Alexander" Magnus whispered back as he gently closed his eyes. Alec watched his warlock in complete happiness. He was madly in love with him, and happily falling deeper and deeper every day.

"To many more" Alec whispered to himself as he felt the sleeping Magnus cuddle closed.
