Magnus smiled as Izzy pulled Alec out of the apartment.

"Bye Magnus!"Izzy yelled and slammed the door behind her.

Magnus laughed. It was Alec's birthday and after breakfast he called Izzy and told her to take Alec shopping for a few hours so Magnus could set up a surprise for Alec. Izzy agreed instantly and literally dragged Alec out of their apartment only a few seconds ago.

Magnus sprinkled rose petals over their coffee table and then placed a few candles on the coffee table with a smile. He got the warm caramel smelling ones that Alec really liked. He laid Alec's favorite blanket to snuggle with on the couch and quickly put in Alec's favorite movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and made sure everything looked comfortable. He quickly snapped himself into one of Alec's huge sweaters and some blue boxers.

Magnus dimmed the lights and then walked into their bedroom and started quiffing his hair up the way Alec liked. He put on his eyeliner as lightly as he possibly could and smiled at himself. He skipped out of the bedroom and sat on the couch and scrolled through his phone to pass the time. He ended up getting caught into the world of YouTube and just scrolled and watched videos by Glam&Gore and Boyinaband for a few hours.

"Magnus, I'm home" Alec called as he shut the door. Magnus quickly turned his phone off and put it away. He got up and walked to Alec and kissed him hello.

"Welcome back, Alexander" Magnus said and Alec smiled as he took off his jacket and hung it up. Magnus took hold of his hand and pulled him gently into the living room. Alec smelled the air and smiled softly as he looked around.

"You did this for me?" Alec asked softly as he moved towards the table and saw the candles and roses.

"Of course. I'd do anything to see you smile" Magnus answered as he sat down on the couch.

"How come everything you do is so graceful?" Alec asked as he sat down next to him and Magnus draped the blanket over both of their laps.

"I could ask you the same. Everything you do seems like you're an expert at that thing" Magnus said and kissed his cheek as he pressed play in the movie.

"Touché" Alec mumbled as his focused went to the movie. Magnus smiled as Alec wrapped his arm around his shoulders. Magnus laid his head down on Alec's shoulder. As the movie progressed to the scene where Harry and Ginny stood on the burrows stairs and Ginny was obviously trying to make a move on him by tying Harry's shoes, Magnus smiled softly.

"I quite like thinking of Harry and Ginny being a couple" Magnus said.

"Why? I thought you liked Drarry?" Alec asked, curious to see his lover's opinion on the Harry Potter ships.

"Ginny liked Harry even before she met him. She was a fangirl and constantly talked about him. She's living every fangirls dream and now she is trying to date him, and he obviously likes her back. Love is love, no matter how much we ship different people. The heart is a mysterious thing" Magnus answers and Alec smiled. Magnus was always good at choosing his words.

"So Larry is out of the shipping thing?" Alec teased. Magnus fake gasped.

"Oh hell no. Larry Stylinson is real and there's nothing you can do to prove that statement wrong. Their management team has done things like giving gay men in bands beards so they can make money off their torture. For all I care Modest! can jump out of an airplane without a parachute" Magnus said and Alec chuckled. Magnus was passionate about when he saw real love in the world.

"Calm down, Mags. I was just teasing" Alec said and and Magnus pouted. Alec kissed his pout quickly.

Magnus smiled and pulled him into a real kiss. Alec decided to make it interesting and deepened the kiss while his hands roamed down to Magnus' hips. Magnus moaned as the black haired and blue eyed boy started to rub circles into his skin.

Magnus quickly straddled Alec's lap and tangled his hands into his lover's messy hair.
