Third person POV
"All rise to welcome, Princess Aria and Alpha Damon." Elder Charles says, as the large crowd stands up and applause their future King and Queen.
Alpha Damon steps on to the stage first, leading Princess Aria up behind him. The couple walk towards the center of the stage, where Elder Charles was standing. The crowd settles down, and soon the only sound to be heard was the click of camera from the paparazzi.
"As you all know, Our King passed away last night leaving the throne empty. Today we will be crowning a new King and Queen." Elder Charles announces. The crowd again coming alive with sounds of applause.
Princess Aria and Alpha Damon both stand across from each other holding hands as Elder Charles begins the ceremony. He grabs the ancient royal dagger and walks toward the couple. Elder Charles grabs Princess Aria's hand first, since she is the royal blood.
"Princess Aria of the Werewolf kingdom, do you pledge your life to fulfill your duty as Queen to protect your people, mate, and keep them healthy?"
"I do." Princess Aria says with no hesitation. Elder Charles then sliced her palm with the royal dagger, her blood becoming apart of the dagger. The dagger is believed to be connected to the Moon Goddess, so whoever does the coronation ceremony correctly will become King and Queen.
"Alpha Damon of Blue Crescent pack, do you willingly give up your role as Alpha and pledge your life to fulfill your duty as King to protect your people, mate, and keep them healthy?"
"I do." Alpha Damon says, his palm being sliced just like the Princess.
"Now to seal the ceremony with the Moon Goddess and your wolves please interlock hands." Elder Charles says, both the Princess and Alpha Damon grab each other's cut, bloody hand. Their blood flowing together, sealing them as mates forever and connecting them with the Moon Goddess.
Elder Charles grabs the kings crown, Alpha Damon bows towards him as the crown is placed on his head. Elder Charles does the same with Princess Aria.

Elder Charles grabs their interlocked hands, raising them towards the sky.
"I announce to you for the first time, King Damon and Queen Aria of the Werewolf Kingdom!"

The after party in the ballroom is in full swing, people dancing and chatting. It's a beautiful sight, especially from seat of the throne. Aria and Damon were sadly stuck on the small stage receiving gifts and congratulations from different Alpha's and such.
"Thank you very much!" Aria says, smiling at the few villagers who had come to congratulate the couple. Aria could tell that Damon was becoming a bit restless after standing here for over an hour. Just before another couple comes to congratulate them, Damon pulls over his Beta, Daniel.
"I'm sorry, but I'm going to steal the Queen for a bit but my Beta will be taking our place." Damon says to the next couple, pulling Aria off the stage.
"Damon! You can't just throw Daniel into it unprepared!" Aria whisper-yells at him.
"It's fine, I mind-linked him ahead of it." Damon says "besides I wanted to spend sometime with my Queen."
"We royal duties to fulfill, Damon." Aria says, as he pulls her closer to the dance floor.
"They can wait till tomorrow, but for now let's dance." Damon smirks, pulling her into the waltz.
"You know I can't dance..." Aria says.
"I also know you were forced to learn how as part of your royal training." Damon laughs, as she dancing perfectly with him.
"Daniel looks so happy with his Mate." Aria says looking back at Daniel accepting gifts with his mate by his side.
"They were best friends before they were mates." Damon says, smiling at his Beta.
"Really? They seem perfect for each other." Aria says leaning into Damon more.
"Just like you and me." Damon says placing a kiss on my cheek. A fast paced song comes on while Damon and Aria join in on the classical dance the whole ballroom was doing. Aria was laughing out of pure joy, Damon couldn't help but smile and stare at the beauty of his mate.
"Let's get something to drink." Aria says, pulling Damon off the dance floor. They both take a glass of wine from a waiter and head up to one of the balconies of the ballroom.
"I don't think I've had so much fun." Aria smiles, leaning against the railing.
"I'm glad, you seem very happy." Damon smiles grabbing Aria's waist.
"You look great in a crown, very handsome." Aria compliments him, looking at crown on his head. It suited him very well, the gold of the crown contrasted well with the darkness of his hair. Aria was so used to seeing her father in that crown, now that it's on her mate, she found a new love for the piece of gold.
"Thank you, A." They both look down at crowd of people dancing and laughing together, Damon couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. This was unlike how he felt with his pack, this was a new surge of pride in his chest, these were his people and there was no one else to tell him what to do.
"We're in charge of them now, aren't we?" Aria jokes, leaning into Damon's chest.
"They're our kingdom, do you feel the connection?" Damon asks.
Once Aria was crowned Queen, she was given the abilities to mind-link her kingdom. Her parents took that away from her at birth when they didn't accept her into their family. She was never able to mind-link her whole life.
"Other than mind-linking, I feel proud of them and I feel the need to keep them safe." Aria replies.
The crowd kept dancing, celebrating the joy of the coronation. The mourning of their past King gone. The Moon Goddess wanted it that way, she never wanted to see her children suffer and mourn the loss of a King. The Moon Goddess has Aria's life planned, she felt special connection to the new Queen. The Moon Goddess knew that Aria was going to great things for the kingdom. She gave Aria such a tough childhood so that she would become a strong Queen who would not cower at one insult. The Moon Goddess saw Aria as the next world-changer.
