"A v-vampire?!"
He nodded. "Taehyung, Jin and I are vampires too."
Vampires exist?!
"Who's Taehyung?" I ask wondering where that new name came from.
"That's V's real name. Now that's not our concern."
"Your father was a vampire but your mom is not. Since you were born to a human mother and a vampire father, you're a human-vampire child. And this is the most powerful trait of all because you possess the entire powers of vampires as well as humans," He stated.
Words won't get out of my throat so I just sat there listening to whatever he was saying.
"Taehyung has been guarding you well and good so that he can suck away your powers on that special day."
"What special day?"
"In the next 7 days, the Total Solar Eclipse is about to happen. This happens only once or twice a century. On the day of Solar eclipse, we gain extra strength and can hunt 70% more effectively. Powers can be transformed only on solar eclipses. Normal solar eclipses occur 2 to 4 times a year but the TOTAL Solar eclipse is no where close to normal ones. The power of creation or transformation or destruction is triple times more than normal solar eclipses. V is waiting for that day, the day he's planning to suck out all your powers for his own gain and then kill you afterwards," Jimin said looking dead serious.
"So to protect you from him, I've brought you here and will keep you here," Jimin spoke with such sincerity.
"Will you let me go after 7 days?" I asked.
"Yes, you can be free," He nods assuringly.
However his eyes showed a glint of mystery. There must be something he wants in return for which he's claiming to protect me.
"What place is this? Where have you brought me to?"
"You're in the vampire world right now. That's all I wanted to tell you today. If you need anything then let me know," He said getting up.
"Don't vampires drink blood? How did I survive all these years being partially vampire?"
"That's because your mom had been giving you special pills from since you were small and you still take them regularly right?" I nodded.
"It is to curb your powers and to give you a normal human lifestyle. If you stopped taking these, then your true self will start to show in a weeks time. Your mom didn't want you to face problems like how your father did," He said walking away.
My mom told me that I got a heart surgery when I was small so she asked me to take these pills for the normal functioning of my heart and I completely believed her because I assumed there's no reason for her to lie to me.
