The next morning, (Y/N) woke up extra early. He quickly put on his clothes and grabbed his kunai bag and his weapon, Crimson, which was a sword right now. He tied his long, white hair back and ran outside.
(Y/N): <thinking> Let's see what torture Kakashi-sensei's going to put me through.
(Y/N) then hurried down the path to the meeting spot.
He was the first one to arrive. No one else was there.
(Y/N): <sighs> Maybe I can get some sleep...
Before he could, however, Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke arrived.
Sakura: <yawning> Morning.
Naruto: <yawning> Morning.
(Y/N): <smiles> Hey, kids.
Sasuke said nothing.
The four then waited in the spot for hours, until the sun came up.
Naruto and Sakura sat down next to (Y/N); Naruto was yawning. Sasuke stayed standing.
(Y/N): <groans> Ugh, where is he?
Sakura: I don't know. We've been here for hours!
Suddenly, Kakashi arrived.
Kakashi: Morning, everyone. Ready for your first day?
Naruto, (Y/N), and Sakura all stood up and glared at Kakashi.
Naruto/(Y/N)/Sakura: <in unison> Hey! You're late!
(Y/N): <angry> What took you so long? I could've gotten a couple extra hours of sleep!
Kakashi: Well, a black cat crossed my path, so I had to take the long way.
Naruto growled at Kakashi, while (Y/N) rolled his eyes.
(Y/N): What a dumb excuse.
Kakashi: Well... <clears throat> Let's get started.
He walked over to three posts in the ground and placed an alarm clock on one of them.
Naruto: <confused> Huh?
Kakashi: Here we go. It's set for noon.
The four watched as Kakashi set a timer for noon and pulled out three bells.
Kakashi: Your assignment is very simple. You just have to take the bells from me. That's all there is to it.
(Y/N) raised his eyebrow.
Kakashi: If you can't get 'em by noon, you go without lunch.
Naruto screamed.
(Y/N): No lunch?
Kakashi: <pointing to the three posts< You'll be tied to those posts, and you'll watch while I eat my lunch in front of you.
Sakura grabbed her growling stomach, Naruto began to freak out, (Y/N) looked down, and Sasuke sighed.
Sasuke: So that's why.
Sakura: He told us not to eat breakfast to make it harder on us.
(Y/N): Well, there's no way I'm starving to death.
Sakura: Wait a minute! There's four of us. How come there's only three bells?
