  The days seem to get longer and longer. It didn't always come off like this.

  She made me feel vulnerable. Weak at my heart. It's what keeps me up at night.

  My thoughts tumble over each other as they try to collect themselves, but end up worse.

  "It's wrong to feel like this! She's given you happiness and love!"

  "But I'm not interested anymore it's... boring."

  "Yesterday you told her you loved her. That Isn't fair to her."

  "It's just a word it doesn't mean anything."

  My mind argued itself deciding what's right or wrong. How I felt was so conflicting. So much I can't dare to see her and lie.

  I can try to pretend but my head won't stop the words. I rather not talk at all.

-(Y/N) Pov -

-weeks later-

  It's been days since I've last gotten a message from him, or even had a conversation with Akaashi.

  I'm worried for him. He passes very few words when I do see him.

It hurts...

I thought everything was going well, but I guess it was just me.

  Unread messages.

  Empty conversations.

  There's nothing there anymore. Just weeks ago we were telling each other how we loved each other.

  Afraid of the situation I was in, I said nothing. If I say something I may be overreacting.

  Looking through my phone I saw pictures of me and him. From when we first started dating to the fun dates we had.

  A notification then popped up on my phone.

  It was my best friend. She's been concerned for me knowing my situation.

  I texted her back.

  I then texted Akaashi hoping he'd say something back.

  Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go out this weekend?

  I knew that he wouldn't answer, but I at least wanted to try.

  I sighed putting my phone down on my bed.

*Bzzzzz*

My phone vibrated. Fast, I took my phone to look at the text message

Sure how does the movies sound? The demon slayer movie just came out.

My face brightened up.

Yeah that's sounds great!

Akaashi
Okay see you there at 5 (17:00)

  I jumped out of my bed full of excitement. Let's go!

  I was waiting at the entrance to the movies waiting for Akaashi. The movie was going to start soon.

  Minutes went by and there was still no sign of him.

The sky became darker. I would just go in and watch the movie, but I'm not the one with the tickets.

I sat down on the bench cupping my hands. I had made the effort to finally have time with Akaashi, but he couldn't return it.

I then heard frantic footsteps.

"(Y/n)!" I turned to the voice seeing Akaashi running toward me.

  He was sweaty and clearly out of breathe.

"Are you okay?" I asked surprised.

"I-m, sorry for being late somethings happened. He explained breathy.

"Oh no, it's fine!" I replied.

Maybe something really bad happened and he still made the effort to come.

He was dressed nicely too. His hair was still messy. A blush crept up my face seeing him like this.

"Is something wrong?" he asked looking up at me.

"It's nothing," I mumbled looking away.

"We should get going the movie already started!" He then pulled my hand inside the theater.

We rushed into the theater buying no snacks and hurried to see the movie. Luckily it was just starting.

Frantically we sat down.

"Uhm..." I said nervously.

"Is something wrong?" Akaashi asked concerned again...

"Nothing it's just cute you're still holding my hand!" I giggled quietly.

All he did was smile and hold my hand even tighter.

Hopefully, he couldn't see my face. I was a blushing mess.

I wonder what Akaashi thinks.

Akaashi's Pov

I hate this.

Faking a smile.

Faking my love for her.

Pretending as if an emergency was the reason for my late arrival. Pathetic.

If only she knew. She wouldn't think I'm so cute.

My hands are dirty sure enough.

I was only so close to not showing up at all
