                                              Here I am addicted to the pain of letting my heart go,
In the careful silence tears spring to my eyes,
And I let myself know,
How to hold on, the end.
                          Is more than just letting it go,
The waters so quick to swallow it's over,
And I am Alice filling up the ocean,
Stuck in a boat that keeps on floating.
                          Scarred the decks I tried scribbling away,
Knowing the moments of facing myself,
I can't bring myself to do a thing,
Not one thing.
