Healer Rhea's POV

In the past five days, so much has happened that Rhea truly couldn't mask how heavy she felt this morning.

Not only was she going to be reintroduced back to the courts, she was having constant flashbacks and unsanctioned grins appeared on her face whenever flashbacks of her imperfect but perfect wedding would pop up. It was dutifully ingenuous to have such a private ceremony, one that they could hold peacefully without any hated stares or judgment.

Now, however, her husband was dutifully right beside her, pressed against the better half of her back in hopes of keeping her comfortable and safe.

"Rom." She issued, knowing that they were due to make the meeting in a timely manner. So it would be best to at least prepare him for what might occur.

Rhea still needed to gauge how the court was feeling, though having Drex and Kieran present for their union allowed her to breathe a little easier, knowing that there was already an accounted two votes.

Yet none of this would be possible if Romulus slept any longer. "Romulus." She attempted, again, only for him to nuzzle her further. "I know you're awake, husband."
"No. I am not. I want to sleep."
"Unfortunately, you are not due for a vacation until our honeymoon." She reminded, and he groaned as he pushed himself onto his back facing up towards the ceiling.

Now allowing Rhea to lean into his chest, laying a small kiss on his chest, catching his attention with ease. "I beg you, plan a quick wedding."
"Two weeks at most, my dress has been decided. Today is the most difficult part, I promise you."
"Difficult, yet you will not tell me what you plan on doing." She smiled, a simple reaction of placing a kiss on his chin and leaning away to get dressed.

Knowing Romulus needed to take a bath in order to get the smell off him. While Rhea could simply use a quick soak and oils, it was her males that would manage to mask her scent easier than the rest.

For whatever reason, a male's sweat was potent—Perhaps showcasing just how much masculinity permitted the air, though Rhea truly didn't want to dive into how but liked the why.

Given that it fit her plans perfectly.

Her plan, as she explained to Romulus, was to remain silent as long as possible. Even as he used her bath, watching her kindly in the corner of his eyes, he remained curious.

No matter how much he asked or tried to pry for information, Rhea was silent. A good quality to have for a Queen, but irritating nonetheless.

"There is no shame in coming in with the wheel-chair, Rhea." He interjected, and she all but stopped putting on her slipper and turned to look at him—Why was it that the male was so unbelievably charming and smart, but so gods damned annoying all that once?

"How far do you think my aim is?"
"I'm not sure I know what you're getting at, lov—" And thus, she tested the limits and took to throwing the small shoe across the room. Though the King had all but turned to catch his, his eyes blazing with a tinted black.

"I understand now, female."
"Good, was worried about you for a moment. I need that back, please." She claimed, offering out her hand. But Romulus had taken his usual long strides over before sinking to the ground and aiding her.

Personally, he hadn't wanted a second attempt, and he prided himself in caring for her in this way. "You're meeting the Healer strictly after, correct?"

"Well...I'm sure there will be room sometime today to get a visit from the Healer." His eyes narrowed, but she distracted him with a kiss as she went ahead and gathered her supplies.
