He once fell in love with a poet
An encounter he did not expect
Someone who he couldn't forget
Years passed by since they first met

Her poems had deeper meaning
Her stanzas made his heart beating
Her chosen words defined her writing
It was her works he kept on anticipating

Entraced, as if she casted a spell
Accumulated feelings he couldn't tell
Did he love her or the idea of loving her?
For him, it was something difficult to infer

Now, he writes bittersweet chapters
With her old but functioning typewriter
Her meaningful presence in his memory
Transpired into his tragic love story
