The truth behind what I now fear
Although I want to stray
Still running away from this past
You're still here, please go away
You who seem to make this pain last
Please help me find who I was before
I've fallen into this vicious lie
My past self is behind that door
Save me from the flood of my cries
Trapped, even as I try to run
I can't escape from this lie
Tell me the truth, tell me what I've done
It repeats again and again, why?
Free me from the chaos within
This lie cuts deeper everyday
Rescue the happy self I could've been
It's threatening to swallow me one day
The same me from before is here
Please let me go, let me live
Let me hold onto someone I love dear
