Poem#32: The Theorem Behind Us

Theorems which are known to be proven
Are just like situations we go over again
Proofs hidden for the person I truly love
He was worth fighting, regardless of these problems we solve

Looking at which possible way is better
Direct proof, contradiction, contraposition
How would I know? For I'm just a beginner
Let me know, I'll make most out of this situation

Would my love prove how much I care?
Affection you considered as postulates
With analogical reasoning, do not compare
I'm different, she's different, hold my hand and have faith

We have separated under undefined terms
Without any reason, we became distant
How could I stay still and become firm?
While our path cross a certain area, just like a secant

Will I remain a tangent to your presence?
While you remain at the center of this circle
Suddenly stuck, becoming defenseless
Walking past me by exactly 90°, these feelings suddenly became brittle

I hope that you'll find your congruence
Someone better, proven more compatible
Laughing at your jokes without any sense
We solved for limits but solving for us has become impossible
