Hidden from reality, shop full of wonder
Seeks for something he truly desires
With prized possession one shall abjure
Dreams entwine with reality that conspires

A hidden figure with a face of terrifying abberations
Lacerations across his face, poor unfortunate soul
Came for a desperate wish, entered without any hesitations
With pitiful eyes, tears of sorrow fall

A mystical spirit with a calm voice has spoken
"A miracle in exchange with whatever you possess"
Reminisce heartaches which made him broken
"True love that accepts and sees me at my best"

The mask disappeared into thin air
A rare beautiful flower bestow on his hands
Love sees true beauty no one can compare
Love only the both of them will understand

A figure of a lady waiting right at his door
"Are you not afraid?" he reluctantly say
"I'm not, I'm the person you're looking for"
She entered his life and promised to stay

Only she can make his world whole again
Brought enthusiasm amidst unfair cruelty
A muse for his poems written with ink and pen
Poems of admiration, a splash of color for her beauty

As time passes, this flower loses its petals
Health deteriorates as she loses her youth
Joy remain despite her condition turning fatal
Sat by her side and decided to tell the truth

"Never thought I'll put your life on the line
Indeed, you truly deserve someone better
If I never entered, you will remain just fine
We were never destined to stay together"

"True beauty seen behind your appearance
Never regretted, seen pieces of your ego Always long for compassion and acceptance
I'm sorry, after short moments I shall let go"

Distressed, pleaded for one last request
Sacrificed his flower and life for his lady
The phantom's heartbeat began to rest
"Unconditional love shall remain for everybody"
