Aarav is standing right now at the same place which flipped his entire life in a single night. Several memories were going on in his mind regarding that place and people connected to it.
His eye fell over the same terrace from where Nitya had committed suicide in front of him. Various emotions were striking him, but he didn't let it affect him. He knows his family needs him and he needs to get through all this strongly before going to Aarohi.
He was ready to pass through all the examinations of life to reach her. With every passing step horrible memories were roaming in his mind.
Either it is Nitya jumping off from the terrace or the havoc he faced last time he visited here. His heartbeat is racing but he takes deep breaths to calm down.
He did all the things Elena suggested him to tackle the situation. He took glances from all over the surroundings and concentrating himself to remind that he will do it at any cost.
With shivering hands, he pressed the bell button at the door. He was waiting there with sweaty palms and racing heartbeats.
The gate was opened by a girl in her early 20s. She was Shriti ( Nitya's younger sister). As soon as she saw Aarav, a bright smile appeared on her face.
She squealed in happiness and spoke , " Aarav bhaiya aap yaha ". She hugged him in the excitement. Aarav was also happy seeing her after 5 years. She was always like a younger sister to him.
He reciprocated the hug while gently caressing her hair. After a while they pulled back from the hug. Shriti said, " Mumma papa dekho kon aaya hai ".
Her parents arrived in the hall. They welcomed him with warm smiles over their face. Her mother spoke, " Beta kitne saalo baad aaye ho tum ".
Aarav spoke in a sad tone , " Uss din ke baad apko face karne ki himmat hi nahi huyi ". Her mother spoke , " Waise naraaz to hume tumse rehna chahiye ".
Before Aarav could say anything, she continued , " Uss din bhagwan ne humse meri beti kya cheeni, tumne bete se bhi alag kar diya. Kya Nitya ke jaane se humse bhi naraaz ho gaye the jo ek baar milne aaye nahi ? ".
Aarav's throat went dried. He gulped and said , " Mujhe laga aap log mujhe uska kaatil mante hoge." She replied ," Wo humse jyada vishwas tum par karti thi. Tumhe laga bhi kaisa ki tumhari wajah se ye sab hua tha ".
Aarav said with moist eyes , " Par maine to yahi mana hua tha ki uski jaan meri wajah se gayi ". Her father spoke , " Hume pata hai tum kitni care karte the uske ek din ke gusse mein tumhare saalo ki dosti par daag laga de ye to possible nahi ".
Her mother said , " Beta jo bhi tha wo ateet tha. Hum nahi chahte ki tum iss baat ka guilt apne kandho par aur uthao. Agar hum tumse 5 saal pehle bhi milte hai hum tab bhi yahi kehte ki Nitya ke saath jo bhi hua, us mein tumne janbujh kar kuch nahi kiya tha ".
As far as these words left her mouth, Aarav fell on his knees and tears were rolling down his eyes, " Kya aapko sach mein nahi lagta tha ki meri carelessness ki wajah se Nitya ki jaan gayi thi ".
Her mother bend down to him while sitting on floor and said , " Tumhe beta kaha nahi tha, maana bhi tha. Aur ek maa ko kabhi nahi lag sakta ki na ek uska bachha dusre ko kabhi nuksaan pahuchaega ".
She wiped his tears. He spoke while sobbing , " Mujhe maaf kar dena ki mein aapke samne bhi nahi aa saka, aapse baat karna to door ki baat thi ".
Shriti said , " Bhaiya aapne kabhi koshish nahi ki aane ki ? ". Aarav took a deep breath and said , " Koshish ki thi ek baar aane ki ".
Her mother spoke , " Fir". Aarav took a deep breath and said , " Par bas nahi aa saka ye samajh ko ki uske jaane se aise tut gaya tha ki jo mujhe thik bhi karna chah rahe the unko bhi chot pahuchayi thi. Na khud ka hosh tha na dusro ka bas yaad tha to ek guilt ki meri wajah se aapne apni beti kho di. Do saal khud ko har tarike se saza dene ke baad jo mujhe sambhalne aayi thi usse bhi alvidaa keh diya aur teen saal therapy lene ke baad aaj himmat ho saki yaha aane ki ".

Her mother said, " Agar tumne Nitya ko koi dukh pahuchaya bhi hoga to wo to tumhe maaf kar chuki hogi ab tak. Par tumne ye apne saath jo kiya hai wo sabse buraa hai. Khud ko nuksaan pahucha kar tum usse khush kar lete. Tumne aisa soch bhi kaise liya ? ".
Aarav said , " Mujhe bhi nahi pata ki ab rait ki tarah samay aur halaat mere hatho se nikalte gaye. Kabhi aisi khushiya mil jaati ki lagta mein ek dum thik hu aur kabhi aisi asliyat dekhi ki itna shayad jud bhi nahi saka tha jitna tut jata tha. Issi silsile mein saalo beet gaye aur pata bhi nahi chala ".
Shriti said , " Aur abb ". Aarav narrated them incidient that happened to him three years back at their place to him. Her family member's heart broke into pieces what cost he had to pay to meet them.

Her mother said , " Tum isliye teen saal ke liye puri duniya se hi alag ho gaye ". He took a deep breath and said , " Duniya se alag hone ka dukh kise tha. Dukh to apno se door hone ka tha ".
Somehow he composed himself and said , " Sorry maine aapko aise disturb kiya ". Her father said , " Beta disturb kaisa tumhara ghar hai tum jab chaho tum tab aa sakte ho ".
Aarav said, " Thank you uncle par mujhe ab chalna chahiye ". Her father said, " Beta thodi der to ruko itne dino mein aaye ho tum ". Next moment , they were sitting on the dining table to have dinner.
They were peacefully eating the food. Suddenly Shriti choked on food, her mother quickly passed a glass of water to her while rubbing her back to soothe.
Aarav felt a pang in his heart seeing this mother child duo which reminded him of his mother. How she used to care about him.From her valuable advice to her soothing embrace he missed everything about her in these years.
He stopped eating midway and placed the plate aside. Shriti said , " Bhaiya aapne to thoda sa hi khaya hai ". Aarav spoke with a faded smile , " Mann nahi kar raha ".
After being done with dinner, Aarav said , " Ab mujhe ijazat dijiye ". Her mothe spoke, " Beta abhi to aaye the ". Aarav replied , " Ek maa yaha intezaar kar rahi thi , ek waha bhi kar rahi hai ".
She understood his dillema, he was facing right then. She said , " Beta aate rehna milne ". Aarav said with a smile , " Ab ek baar milkar sab galatfehmiya door ho gayi hai. Waada karta hu kabhi aapko dobara iss bete ki kami mehsus nahi hogi".
He dropped a message on Elena's number ," I am finally able to face all this without any breakdowns. Thank you so much, you helped me a lot ". After a while , " Congratulations, Mr. Singhania. Have a great life ahead ".

Saying this he bid a farewell to them. After returning to his room in the hotel. His eyes were dwelled up in tears in memories of her mother.
Aarav's P.O.V.
I can't explain my urge to wrap myself in my mother's veil again. I don't know how she had spent those three years without me, because I know really well that how much I meant to her. A single bruise on me scared the hell out of her in my childhood. I know I had put her in a situation to go through out the worse by separating her from his child. I have lost the count of people who were hurt by me in previous years due to my own concerns. But none of them deserved the weak version of me. I wish I could reach my family right now. But its already too late night. So I don't feel it is right time to go there. Just one more night and then starts my mission to mend all the bonds which weakened during these years.
