Tsk! That oh-so-loud laugh wake me up early in the morning.
What the heck is that noise??
My subconcious is already awake but my eyes are kept close. I wanna rest a little longer.
"bwahahahaha! Ang pogi ni kuya oh!"
It was Tycer. Kuya? Pogi? Is it Kuya Ken that he called pogi?
"O--M--G!! He's really smiling there!" - Tycee
Smiling? Who? When? Where?
"mas pogi pala ni Kuya pag nakasmile ano? Hindi mukhang nakakatakot! Sana laging may cake para lagi syang nakangiti!"
Is that Tyler? Who would have told that an 8 year old kid can give such opinion?
"yeah right. I still can't believe he smiled as wide as that! After 2 long years! I'm happy for him!" Kuya Ken said happily
What are they talking about? Or maybe who are they talking about?
"pogi noh? Haha akalain natin na ang parang kasing tigas ng batong kagaya nya ay napangiti ng isang cake?" - Zach
"scratch that Zachary!.. Let me rephrase that.. Who would have told that a hard-as-rock--and--cold-as-ice--person like kuya Tyrone smiled because of a girl after two looong years!" - Tycee
Hard as rock? Cold as ice? Person? Tyrone? Smile? Girk? Two years?
Wait. Did I just heard my name?
"yeah right. TwinSis! We should thank ate Coline for making him smile once again!"
Coline? Make him smile? Paano napasok si annoying-always-in-trouble-girl sa usapan nila?

Then sabay-sabay na silang lumabas ng unit ko.
They looked nervous. They was hiding something from me!
"ah una na ko bro! May date pa ko!"
"really? Enough for excuses Zachary!" then I grab him in his arm
"uhm..ah..eh..hehe"
"is there something you want to tell me?"
"ah oo! Hehe! Uhm nagluto na si kuya Ken ng pancakes for breakfast! Kumain ka na jan! Bye bye!"
Ayun tumakbo na sya palabay ng unit ko.
"GET BACK HERE ZACH!" I command
But seems like he doesn't hear anything at all.

He continue to run.
Tsk! Nakatakas na naman sya!
Kahit kelan baliw yan si Zach.

Zach's POV
Hi Everyone!
I'm Zachary Smith. Zach for short. I'm 19! My father is an American while my mother is a Filipina. I live at States for almost 5 years. My brother is the famous Doctor Ken Smith.
I'm a little bit good in speaking and understanding Tagalog 'coz my mother don't want us to be like malansang isda daw? I don't know, yan lang ang lagi nyang sinasabi sakin.
I'm handsome, I'm hot, I'm good and I'm cool. Tyler once said at me 'habulin daw ako ng chicks!' yeah right. Its just that ----------.
"GET BACK HERE ZACH!" my bestfriend shouted

That's Tyrone dela Vega, my bestfriend. Her sister is my brother's fiancé. I'd become his friend when he went to States 2 years ago. And now were here in the Philippines for good. There are many beautiful Filipina's and great Filipino's here in the Philippines.
"Zach!!!" he shout again
I love him when he's burning in anger!
Wait. Wag nyong isipin na I'm a gay! Straight ako. I just love him as a brother and a friend, that's all. And I really love teasing him coz he's such a pikunin! Haha
I run as fast I could. I'm dead if he'll catch me.
Until I reach a convinient store down the building.
I bought a beer-in-can to have some drink.
Beer this early in the morning? Not bad.
Jeez. Where am I going?
I was walking along the street, I had nowhere else to go coz Tyrone is in his unit is madly angry at me.
I took my phone and started to laugh out loud! I look like crazy laughing out of nowhere while looking at the picture on my phone.
It was him, Tyrone.. Smiling like a kid staring at the cake, that chick gave. How sweet!
Eto yung pinagkakaguluhan naming lahat kanina.
I took a picture of him last night when he saw that cake.
Y'know, he smiled just once in a blue moon so I took him some photograph using my cellphone secretly.
I'm so glad.. We were all so glad.. That after two years of misery, he now find himself a reason to smile.
"look girls oh, he's so handsome!"
"where?"
"yieee! Ang pogi parang model!"
O--kay! Another bunch of Filipina girls who was captivated by my handsome face.
Jeez. Ang hirap talagang maging pogi! *pogi sign plus killer smile (sa utak lang)*
I just ignore them. I don't want to cause trouble again. Not until I heard that familiar voice.
"tsk! Ang landi nyong dalawa!"
O.O Did I just heard her?
That am--ame--zone--na? Tsk! Why I can't even speak that word fluently?
"Bilisan nyo nga! Mahirap malate pag finals!"
I automatically turn my head where the voices were coming..
My drink suddenly fell out of my hand because of surprise.
And I was right.. Its really her.
"tsk! KJ mo naman Angela!" sabi nung isa
"10 pa ang exam natin! May 30 minutes pa tayo! Malapit lang naman ang XYZ University oh! I can even see its gate right here!"
They were wearing like a chef's uniform. XYZ University? They was studying there?
"tsk! Bilisan nyo na lang! Ayoko pang bumagsak!" sabi nya ulit at nagmadali ng maglakad
Whooh! I really like her! She's very interesting!
