I don't own any rights.

The door to the club looked like any other but it was guarded by two ginormous Halfblood giant brothers. They served as both the doormen and the bouncers. Needless to say they rarely had trouble in the club.

Lauren snickered when she was reminded of the Princess Bride quote 'You are the Brute Squad.'

Each brother was two times the size of Andre the Giant.

She had made Zach sit through Princess Bride repeatedly the first year they had met. At twelve she had been a hopeless romantic and had fallen in love with Wesley and Buttercup. Zach would tease her relentlessly when she ohhhh and awed over the, 'As you wish' quote and when the narrator would explain that what he really meant when he said it waaaaas 'I love you'.

She seriously melted.

He teased her every time, but she didn't care, she loved the film, and everything about it.

The giants recognized her and nodded their heads, but not before the bigger of the two said, "hey looks like we have a couple of Newbies here. Welcome to the club."

The other brother just laughed and said, "Literally" and they both chuckled.

When they reached the door Lauren let Quinn do the honors. This experience was after all something he was never going to forget.

He swung the door wide and the rest of the gang followed behind them.

There was a bright flash of red light and then the music was pumping loud enough to burst her ear drums and the dance floor was filled with creatures of every description. The bar was to the right and the stage was to the left of them. The dance floor took up the rest of the room in the center.

Quinn ducked down to yell in her ear, "There aren't any seats or bathrooms. Where are they?"

Lauren pointed up to a second floor suspended in mid air. The tables and chairs, and couches with intimate little sitting areas, were literally sitting on an invisible floor.

Creatures walked around upstairs on the non-existent surface. Seeming spookily suspended in midair. Really, it wasn't like a glass floor that had black strips of metal around them to support them. This was an honest to God invisible floor.

She just shook her head and thought God I love my world as she watched the guys craning their heads this way and that trying to take it all in.

Donnie's eyes nearly fell out of his head when Kelly walked by above in her skintight black mini skirt. Oh yeah Lauren thought you don't wear a skirt to the club unless you're an exhibitionist or you absolutely have nothing to hide. Kelly fell into both categories.

Donnie spoke up in a choked voice and asked "Mio Dio how do I get up there?" and pointed to Kelly's location."

Lauren was beginning to wonder if Donnie wouldn't mind "being part of her world" too.

"Yeah," Zach said right in her ear, leaning in close so she could hear him, "where are the stairs?"

A tight shiver ran down her spine as a breath of air left his mouth and tickled her lobe.
