India led the way with a bright smile, pushing the trolley throughout the isles. You weren't far behind her, simply scanning for items to grab.

India stopped suddenly in her tracks, almost causing you to run straight into her. "What are you doing, you sod?" You laughed, "I almost ran straight into the back of you!"

"Shut up. I found the goods." She smirked, leaning forward towards the bottles of fizzy. "Now, do we want creaming soda, Pasito or simple coke?" India giggled excitedly, rubbing her hands together.

"Whatever you want, you know I won't drink any of it." You shrugged.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you were boring." She smiled, nudging you as she grabbed the large bottle of creaming soda. You bumped her back, causing her to slip and hit the side of the trolley. It rolled away, narrowly missing an old woman before you caught it.

"Sorry!" You squeaked out, retreating quickly with the trolley before she could hear you and India burst into laughter. India still had the bottle in her hand, leaning on of the supporting poles of the shelf. You just held tightly onto the trolley, face bright red with embarrassment and laughter.

Chris rounded the corner then to see his daughter and best friend essentially doubled over in laughter. It was a truly heartwarming sight to see India so genuinely happy. He knew that the friendship the two of them shared was one that should be valued. In that moment, Chris realised how much friendship should be valued.
