Being the maid of the royal family is hard. The Herrons are fair and love their people but they do follow rules. I just happen to be the maid for Zach Herron the prince (also I'm new). He is becoming King next month and he needs a bride.
I'm cleaning his room today. We are allowed to wear our own clothes and it has to be all black. I put my hair in a curly ponytail and no make up. I arrive at the palace at 8 and go to the Princes room to wake him up. "Your highness it's time to get up" Said Evie. "I'm up, who are you? Your not Elizabeth" Said Prince Zach. "I'm new here, your highness" Said Evie. "Oh how old are you, Eliza was 70" Said Prince Zach. "18, your highness" Said Evie. He nods. "Leave now, I can get dressed by myself, actually what's your name?" Asked Zach. "Evie" Said Evie. He smiles. "It suits you, Evie. Is it short for anything?" Asked Zach. "Evelyn" Said Evie. He smiles and I leave. His hot.
As the months go on we get closer and his King. He needs to find a Queen now. I go down and see this girl, Princess Kay. She's beautiful. I stand at the wall and wait to be needed. Zach spots me and smiles. He walks over. "Hey Evie, that's Princess Kay and my mum wants me to marry her. I do not want to marry her" Said Zach. "Then tell them that" Said Evie. "No. I have sent a dress for you for the ball. To announce mine and Princess Kay's engagement" Said Zach. I just nod and he leaves. I sigh and go home. I have the day off and apparently my name is on the guest list.

I smile at my reflection and head to the ball. I walk in and Zach walks over. "Come with me" Said Zach. He takes my hand and we go to the garden and stand beside the fountain. "I'm in love with you and I want to marry you. So will you marry me?" Asked Zach.

"But what about Kay?" Asked Evie. "She's not you" Said Zach. "Yes!" Smiled Evie. We share our first kiss and it's everything and we sneak off somewhere. Zach sends a maid to tell the king and Queen he felt sick.
