He Wants Her (Under Editing)

Chapter: 26.

"How long?!" I asked him for the nth time in this 10 minutes of duration.

"We're almost there." He said calmly. I really don't know how he is able to be that calm after all my ranting and carrying me in his arms. He must have a lot of patience. But it was getting dark too.

"We're here." Mike said and put me down. I balanced on my feet and then looked around.

To say I was shocked would be the biggest and the largest understatement of my entire life. My eyes almost bulged out of my sockets when I saw a breathtaking set up infront of me. My jaw dropped to the ground.

It was really beautiful. Trees decorated with beautiful lights. Lamps hung here and there on the branches. A beautiful dinner table set up in the middle of everything. Around the table there were some pillars made to stand. On it were my favourites, blue orchids and red roses. The combo looked really beautiful.  There were red and blue balloons on the ground. Candles lit up on the table. All in all, I loved it.

I was awestruckly staring at everything when I forgot the Mike was there. I turned around to look at him leaning against at tree with a small smile on his face.

I didn't even have words to tell how I felt by seeing all of this. I kept opening and closing my mouth. But then managed to utter a few words.

"Why am I here?" It was bearly audible.

He then straighten up and made his was to me. He stood right infront of me, looking straight into my eyes as if he could see through me.

He looked confident. But I really didn't understand for why was I here. "I have something to tell you." He said huskily, his breath fanning my face.

I gulped but nodded for him to continue.

He took a deep breath and looked back at me.

"Amanda, there was a time when I was really vulnerable. I've had a really bad past. I wouldn't let any one near me knowing that they would just leave me all alone and go. I build a invisible wall around me so that no one could ever enter. I started to drink. I became very vulnerable. Every thing in my life seemed dark. But then, out of no where, you came in my life. You brightened up every single corner in my heart. In my soul. You made me laugh. You made me live. You changed me completely, Amanda. And I think the change is for good." He paused for a moment and continued.

"I first saw you at the restaurant you went for dinner with your friends. I couldn't take my eyes off you. You just looked perfect. You made me think 'how could someone be so beautiful?' I wanted you so badly. And then ever since I saw you again at your cafe and then back at Evelyn's home, I couldn't help but think about you for days and nights. From then, every time we met, I kept falling for you harder and harder. You looked really beautiful when we went for a dinner and even in the dress you wore for the party. God! You look beautiful every single second. But when I got to know that you got kidnapped, the same feeling of loneliness hit me. I became restless. I had to some how find you. That's when I realised that I fell for you." He paused. By now, my jaw was six feet under the ground. I couldn't believe my ears.

"I..I.." was saying but he cut me off with a kiss. The kiss sent shivers down my body. My toes curled themselves. It was the best kiss I've ever had.

"Yes Amanda Reynolds. I love you. I loved you since the day one. And will love you till my last breath." He said and got down to his knees. And took my hand in his.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked hopefully. I squeezed his hands gently and nodded. "Yes!" I said with a smile. He grinned.

"What? I didn't here you?" He said in a sing song voice, making me giggle slightly. "Yes!" I said a little louder.

Now he got up to his feet and held me close by my waist, his forehead resting on mine. "I didn't get you. Yes for what?" He asked looking staright through my eyes.

"Yes. I will be your girlfriend." I said looking at his chest. The next thing I knew was his lips smashed against mine in another breathtaking kiss.

Nothing could be more perfect.

I must say it was quiet difficult to write all of it. But I think it went off well.
