DAY6' Young K and 'Bullet' Director are Officially Dating

I laughed at the headline. Didn't the writer know that Bullet had three directors? Anyway, I read on.

In an official statement issued by JYP Entertainment on April 18th, the agency confirmed that DAY6 member Young K and 'Bullet' director Krizza Steins are officially dating.

Rumors about them dating started since the last week of January when photos of them together began circulating online. In a press conference for 'Bullet', Director Steins denied the rumors. However, the issue resurfaced again after Dispatch released another dating news about Young K and Director Steins with photos of them kissing in front of a restaurant in Gangnam as proof.

Finally, JYPE issued an official statement confirming the truth behind the rumors.

"Hello, this is JYPE. After a short conference with our artist, Young K of the band, DAY6, it has been confirmed that he and Krizza Steins PD are indeed in a special relationship. Our artist is aware that the news may cause divided opinions among fans, but he assures everyone that he is very much happy. He also promised that their relationship will not interfere with their work."

It continues, "DAY6' dating ban has already ended and the agency supports whatever it is that makes its artist happy. We hope that the fans will continue to support Young K and DAY6. Thank you."

Meanwhile, Director Steins hasn't given her statement yet regarding the matter.

Krizza Steins is the director of the award-winning film, "The Girl and The War" and the recent blockbuster hit, "Bullet". She is also the director of the upcoming Netflix drama, "When You Love Someone" starring DAY6.

I closed my iPad and removed my earphones. There was no music playing from there. I just put them on, so that people would leave me alone.

It was early in the morning and we were on the set of the web drama. Just a few scenes to go and we would be done with the filming.

DAY6 already arrived, so I told everyone that we would begin the shoot. Despite what happened, nothing changed within the set...or so I thought.

It was already difficult to bear those judging gazes, but I still had to hear spiteful words from people. I even stopped checking my social media accounts to avoid reading hateful comments and messages. Yet, I still had to deal with them within earshot. Just like that day.

As we were filming in a school, we had to cast extra talents as students. I was aware that most of them were DAY6 fans and after the dating news was confirmed, it seemed I became a good target of dagger-like stares. I even heard them talking about me while I was in a corner reading the article. They were talking in Korean, but I heard them mention my name a few times and noticed them glancing in my direction, so I knew I was their subject of interest. However, as Trina said, my words were law on set. I was still the director, anyway.

"Get ready, people. We'll start in five minutes."

The assistant director translated what I said and they all get themselves ready. I reviewed the script and visualized the scene in my mind.

Only when the filming started that I felt everything went back to normal. A production set had always been my favorite place. It was where I was most confident about myself.

The shoot ended at three pm since DAY6 had another schedule to attend to. But before they left, Young Hyun approached me as usual.

"Sorry, I might not be able to take you home later. The recording might end late."
