Sunghoon's POV

"Hello?" I spoke into the phone, wondering why Yeonjun had to speak to me out of blue.

"Sunghoon, don't offer her any type of gun, and probably don't let her enter your weapon room until she is fine. If you want her to be armed in any ways, just give her what she wants, but not guns please." He said. I could sense that he was a bit worried at the way he was speaking.

"Okay, fine. But why?" I asked, glancing over at Diana only to see her bury her face in her hands, her body language telling me that something was off.

"She will tell that herself when she wants to. It's not something for me to say." Yeonjun replied from the other side.

"Alright. I'll take care of that." I said, mentally noting it down and nodding to myself.

"And," Yeonjun began, pausing for a second to sigh. "Stay with her for a while. She is a bit scared about something. Distract her with something if you can. Or else ask someone else if you are busy. Don't let her be alone for now." He finished as if he seemed to exactly know what was happening with her.

"Others have gone out. But don't worry I'll be there with her till they come back." I said, glancing at the female who was still somehow distraught.

"Thanks. Now I have to go. Goodbye."

"Goodbye." I cut the call and kept down my phone. As soon as the sound of the phone being kept on table reached Diana's ears, she looked up at me curiously.

"What did he say?" Diana asked me, her voice slightly shaky. I shrugged my shoulders casually in response, determined not to tell her what her brother had instructed me.

"Nothing. Just something related to some dealing." I lied, my lips curving up into a small smile. Fortunately, she seemed to be convinced with the reason.

"Oh, okay." She said, looking away from me and turning her head around to looking outside the window at the purple sky as silence filled the room.

"Wanna watch a movie?" I asked after some time, breaking the silence, as I recalled that I had to keep her distracted before her thoughts swallowed her. Diana looked up at me, a smile adorning on her face.

"Sure. I'll freshen up and come." Diana agreed, getting up with the support of the wall.

Diana's POV

I walked to the hall and saw Sunghoon sitting on the couch, selecting a movie. Suddenly, I saw a familiar poster come up.

"That movie!" I said, pointing at the poster. Sunghoon laughed at me getting excited seeing that movie's poster come up.

"You sure?" He asked, turning behind to look at me while I hopped towards the couch happily. I nodded, knowing that a funny movie would be the best option to keep us busy.

"Hell yeah. I want to die laughing." I said, chuckling, and sat beside him.

"I never saw it. Let's watch this then." He said as he clicked on the play option to start the movie. While the movie was going on, I felt really uncomfortable and hot in the clothes I was given to wear.

"Sunghoon? Can I borrow some cotton clothes? I can't sleep in sweats." I complained, tugging at the sweatshirt I was wearing. Sunghoon looked at my clothes and burst out laughing, as if he wasn't already due to the movie.

"I don't know if Ni-Ki played a practical joke giving you these or if he was really trying to be kind." He managed to say in between the wheezes. "Wait, I'll give you some." He added and stood up, his laughter now turned to soft chuckles.

"I'll come to pick." I said, placing my hand on the handle of the couch to get up but Sunghoon pushed my shoulders down, making me sit back on the couch.

"No. Sit here. My room is on another floor; plus you want your leg to heal faster so don't go on hopping like that." He spoke firmly, a small frown on his lips.

"But it only hurts a bit-" I protested but Sunghoon cut me off mid sentence.

"Diana, no. You need that leg to heal fast, okay? Don't hop around unnecessarily. Ask someone if you want to go somewhere." He said, pointing at my leg. I clicked my tongue in annoyance, slightly mad at being scolded just because I wanted to help.

"Fine." I said sighing, looking ahead and resuming to watch the movie. The male nodded and left to go upstairs. After sometime he came back with a smile on his face.

"I kept some clothes in you room. Wear those before you sleep." He said while sitting down beside me. I nodded, both of us going back to watching the movie.

━━━━━(🥀)━━━━━

"That was actually pretty funny." Sunghoon said as he switched off the TV. I chuckled, nodding in response.

"I told you. Me and Yeonjun used to watch it whenever someone was in a bad mood." I said, smiling to myself thinking of the fun stuff we did before he left. Sunghoon nodded, before glancing at his phone.

"It's time for dinner already. Why aren't these guys back yet?" Sunghoon wondered aloud. As if just on cue, the doorbell rang. I grabbed the remote in my hand, positioning it such that I can throw it at the intruder just in case if the person was someone unwanted. Sunghoon slowly walked towards the door, opening the drawer which was near the TV set and took out a gun. He peeked out through the eye hole and I saw his eyes widen. He quickly opened the door, letting everyone in.

All the guys came in, battered and bleeding. I realised that they had been through a fight.

"What the fuck happened?" Sunghoon asked, clearly surprised as he looked at all the five men who had entered the house.

"Let's say the deal took a wrong turn." Sunoo replied with a sigh, plopping down on the sofa beside me.

"It was a fraud. They had planned a trap so that they can get the goods plus our money." Heeseung added, sitting down on the chair near the dining table and keeping down his gun on it.

"But as usual, we didn't spare anyone." Jay said, as he removed the knives from his belt. Both the knives were covered in blood, some of which had already dried up.

"Anyone got shot?" Sunghoon asked while looking at everyone closely to see if there were any major injuries.

"Nope." Jungwon piped up, shaking his head while filling up a glass of water to have a drink.

"Where's Jake?" I asked, after noticing the latter was not present in the group.

"We got hold of someone who was roaming around our place, spying and Jake caught him. He'll be back in a minute." Ni-Ki said. As soon as he said that, Jake came inside the house while dragging someone with him by his collar.

"Jay, come with me." He said in a stern voice. I saw Jay follow Jake, the three of them going downstairs. I looked at Sunghoon with a confused expression.

"They are going to question him." Sunghoon said, giving Sunoo a damp cloth to wipe blood off his face.

"They both do that?!" I asked, horrified since I had never imagined those two men to be so though.

Fuck, I had never imagined these seven guys who looked so innocent to be part of a mafia.

"Yeah. Usually Jake asks the questions and Jay- well, you know, helps the questions being answered." He said, looking uncomfortable as he tried to shut down the topic somehow.

"I think Jay would not be able to make anything tonight. I'll make ramen for us. Ni-Ki help me out." Heeseung said while getting up, the younger trailing behind him.

"I'll help you guys with the wounds." I said, sitting up straight, as Sunghoon threw a first aid kit at me.
