Diana's POV

"Jungwoo's death is a shock for everyone. The tour company is still working ahead under the manager but it won't be for long. The mafia is on standby for now. Many groups think that you are behind this but they are not sure."  Hyunjae said, worry evident in his voice. I nodded, as I stared out of the window, thinking hard. "We need to think of a permanent solution. It can't go on like this."  He added. I nodded, as I sighed.

"What about the company's customers?" I asked, curious, causing the male on the other side of the phone sigh deeply.

"All have put their deals on hold. They won't proceed until and unless someone takes over. But Diana, I think it's time for you to come back." Hyunjae spoke softly, trying to persuade me. I thought for a minute, and then slowly nodded, as I came up with a solution.

"I have an idea..."

Yeonjun's POV

I was crossing Diana's room when I heard her talking to someone on the phone.

"Thank you Hyunjae. I really appreciate it. Goodbye." She said, before cutting the call and keeping the phone beside her. I knocked on the open door, grabbing her attention. She looked up at me, smiling, as she motioned me to come inside.

"What were you talking with Hyunjae?" I asked her, as I sat beside her on the edge of the bed. She sighed, as she casually shrugged her shoulders.

"Someone needs to take over everything after Dad." She said, as she stared down at her hands. "For the time being, I told Hyunjae to take over the mafia, whereas let the company run under the manager." She said, as she turned her head to look at me. I furrowed my eyebrows, clearly disappointed at what Diana had said.

"You sure?" I asked, raising my eyebrow, curious. She nodded slowly, as she looked down, letting out a small sigh.

Diana's POV

"Alright. I'll leave now. Goodnight." Yeonjun said, as he stood up to take leave. I nodded, as I stood up along with him, walking towards the nightstand and felt my necklace, taking it out of my t-shirt. I unclasped it from behind, taking it in my fist, staring at it momentarily and kept it on top of the table.

"Diana?" I suddenly heard a voice come from the door. I looked up and saw Sunghoon standing, as he leaned against the door. I motioned him to come inside, as I picked up the glass kept on the nightstand, putting it up to my lips and drinking the water inside it. I saw him nod, as he walked inside the room and stood in front of me.

"We had a small meeting some time back." He said, sighing, as he put his hands inside his pocket, looking down at the floor. "TXT's gonna leave as soon as this thing quiets down a bit." He said, as he looked at me for a response.

"I see." I said, nodding slowly, the fact that they are going back soon making my heart feel heavy.

"So the question is, where will you go?" He asked, as he looked at me, intently. "You can go back with them, or else you can stay here. We will be always happy to have you with us." He said, a sad smile on his face. I let out a deep sigh, as I sat down on the edge of the bed, Sunghoon sitting down beside me. I stared outside the window, biting my lip, as I thought hard.

"Can I have some time to decide?" I asked, as I turned my head around to look at him. "It's really hard for me." I said, as I looked down, half of me thinking about the happy memories I had made here with Jake but the other half of me wanted to reunite with my brother and his friends.

"I can understand. Take your time-" Sunghoon said, when suddenly we both heard a faint buzzing sound. He quickly got up, as he looked around for the source, curious. I immediately recognised that sound.

The necklace...

I quickly went towards the nightstand and took the necklace in my hand, which was buzzing to life. I pressed the pendent with my finger to stop it from buzzing further.

"What's this?" Sunghoon asked, as he looked at my hand.

"This comes in a pair. Jake had one apart from me." I said, as I looked closely at the necklace.

"How does it do that?" He asked, as he looked up at me, confused, motioning at the object in my hand.

"If he presses the pendent of his own necklace, mine will buzz and vice versa-" I said, after which I realised what I was saying, causing my eyes to grow wide. "Sunghoon what if- what if he is alive?" I asked, my voice almost a whisper. I heard Sunghoon sigh.

"Diana that can't be- you know how big the explosion was. Jake's must be broken so it's sending in random signals." He said, shrugging his shoulders, as he glanced at the delicate necklace in my hand. I slowly nodded, as I tied it around my neck again.

"You are probably right. I'm just getting my hopes up." I said, defeated, as I twirled the pendent in my hand. He smiled softly, as he gently patted my shoulder.

"Goodnight Diana." He said, before leaving the room, leaving me alone.

━━━━━(🥀)━━━━━

I stared at the ceiling, in the middle of the night, wide awake, my hand touching the necklace, as I thought about what had happened earlier.

"Something seems wrong here..." I muttered, as I sat up straight, rubbing my temples as I decided to investigate. I stood up, as I took the laptop with was lying on the table, opening the application which showed the location of the GPS tracker in the pendants.

"This can't be..." I whispered, as I stared at the screen, completely shocked.

Yeonjun's POV

"Choi Yeonjun wake up this instant, you sleepyhead!" I heard Diana shouting, as she shook me vigorously, trying to wake me up.

"Where is the respect woman? Respect is the key to wake up your handsome brother." I muttered, half asleep, as I placed the pillow over my face, trying to go back to sleep.

"Junie get up, please!" I heard Diana shout again, as she stopped shaking me. I woke up quickly, as I heard the urgency in her voice.

"What happened?" I asked her, my eyebrows furrowed, as I looked at her, worried.

"I think Jake is alive..."
