Jake's POV

"My arms hurt so fricking bad." Jay complained, as he massaged his own arm. "I wonder how she manages to do that for hours together." He added, shaking his head slowly, sighing.

"She has some inhumane strength in those arms, I guess." Jungwon piped up, shrugging his shoulders, as he looked at us innocently. I chuckled at his response, as I shook my head.

"Yet she was so gentle while correcting us." Sunoo said, as he laid back on the couch, letting out a deep sigh, trying to relax his body after the hard practice. I nodded, agreeing to him, as I let out a small chuckle.

"Completely agreed." I said, smiling, as I cracked my knuckles.

"How wouldn't you agree? I just saw something go on during the practice." Sunghoon whispered in my ear. Blush crept into my cheeks as I recalled the event to which he was referring to.

"Shut the fuck up." I muttered, pushing him away. He chuckled at my reaction, shaking his head slightly at the sight of me getting embarrassed by his words.

"Let's not forget why she is here." Heeseung said, as he looked at us, reminding us of the situation. "I'll go and talk to Taehyun about their situation." Heeseung added, as he got up and went downstairs to call up the other male.

"Ni-Ki, have you seen my favourite gun anywhere?" Jungwon asked, as he looked at the youngest, who was again busy on his phone. "Ni-Ki!" Jungwon called out, annoyed, as he didn't get any response from him.

"What?" The said male asked, confused, as he looked up at the older male, who was annoyed with him.

"Nevermind. I'll just try finding it for the third time." Jungwon huffed, as he went upstairs in his room. I rolled my eyes, chuckling slightly at the sight of two of them fighting.

"By the way," Jay asked, as he turned to look at me. "What did the spy say while we were gone?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders, as I stood up.

"Basically, Jungwoo wants Diana dead because she has a lot of confidential information about his gang. About his killings, dealings, cases against him which were silently closed, everything. And he somehow got to know that she was joining TXT, which is one of the enemies of Jungwoo and he knew that Diana would spill everything to her brother, Yeonjun, who is a part of TXT." I said, as I stood up and paced back and forth, while explaining.

"That's it?" Jay asked. "He wants to kill her for that?" He added, as he looked at me, curious. I shook my head in denial.

"As far as what I understood, he wants her to suffer. Personal reasons maybe." I said, shrugging my shoulders, avoiding telling anything about Diana's past.

"Has she told you anything?" He asked, raising his eyebrow, as he looked at me intently for response.

"Nothing." I lied, shaking my head. "I did some research and it seems that Jungwoo lost two wives. Maybe something might be related to Diana." I added, as I clicked my tongue, trying to look as if I knew nothing. Jay hummed in response.

"In short, a messed up family." Jay said, summing it up in a loose sentence.

"Yes, but I don't think it's only that. Yeonjun, who was the stepson, didn't join his step dad's mafia and stared a new one. We can understand that because Jungwoo's mafia and his allies are straight up cruel." I said, as I bit my lip, thinking hard, while I stared down at the floor.

"The daughter, which is Diana, never got along with her Dad. Maybe something which had happened in her past. And I got to know is, Jungwoo remarried within two years." I said, as something struck me wrong, making me look at Jay in surprise.

"Something is not right. Old papers and news say he loved his first wife dearly. Why, not that, how could he remarry so fast?" I asked, mostly to myself, as I kept on thinking, staring at the floor, my hands resting on my hips.

"Maybe he was a playboy. Who knows?" Jay said, shrugging his shoulders. "The second wife died too right?" He asked, looking at me for a reply.

"Yes. She died too," I muttered, nodding. "But there is something else- something-"

"Does anyone have an extra hairbrush? I broke mine." I heard Diana say from behind. I turned around and my eyes widened in surprise. She was wearing a spaghetti tank top with shorts, her hair let down. I looked around and saw everyone staring at her with wide eyes.

"Over there!" I suddenly shouted, pointing outside the window. This distracted everyone in the room, as they looked outside, Sunoo getting up to investigate. I took the opportunity and quickly walked towards Diana, hugging her so that no one can see her except her face.

"What the hell-" She muttered in surprise, as she looked at me with round eyes.

"Shut up and go to your room. Now." I ordered, my voice stern. I saw her gulp, fear visible in her eyes, as she nodded slowly and went back to her room.

"What is there?" Sunoo asked, pointing at the window, as he walked back towards the couch, sitting down. looking at me confused.

"I saw a kingfisher." I said, chuckling nervously.

"Jake, seriously- I thought there was something important." Jay said, facepalming. I grinned, as I quickly slipped out of the hall and went into Diana's room.

Diana's POV

"What the hell do you think you are wearing?!" Jake shouted, as he closed the door behind him, glaring at me.

"I am wearing what I usually do. What's your problem?" I spat back, defending myself.

"That-" He said, pointing at me. "Is really inappropriate to wear when you are living with seven men." He said, looking at my clothes and then looking at me.

"You are one of them too." I said, as I folded my hand across my chest, glaring at him. "And plus, I only have tank tops to begin with. Rest are at my Dad's place." I said, tilting my head. "Unless you attack at his place just to get my clothes back." I said cockily, my eyebrows raised. Jake slowly walked towards me, his eyes boring into me. I tried to stare him down, as I held my ground, not moving an inch.

"I will repeat myself for the last time. You are not going to wear this." He said, pointing at my top. "I'll give you my clothes to wear but I swear I'll not allow you to wear that." he added, shaking his head.

"Why? Why do you mind so much?" I retorted back, clearly mad at the male who was standing in front of me. He placed his two fingers below my chin, pushing my face up to look at him properly.

"Princess, you forget that you are living with seven dangerous men.," He said, as he lowered his face a bit such that his mouth was just beside my ear. "Who are dangerous in all aspects. If I were you, I would be wearing clothes which cover my entire body." He whispered, sending shivers down my entire body. He looked back at me, as he removed his fingers from my chin and left the room, leaving me alone and shaken.
