Second Place {Nagisa x Reader}

||Part 2 Chapter 4!!||

~Previously on 'Second Place in Chapter 3 Part 2~

After avoiding Nagisa for the rest of summer break, Y/n ends up ends up being invited to a festival by Koro Sensei. While Y/n's struggling to pay for more food, Nagisa comes to her rescue and pays for her food. Now Y/n has not choice but to hang out with Nagisa. When it comes time for  fireworks Y/n waits for Nagisa in a secluded area so they can finally talk about all that's happened. Once they're bother there alone, Nagisa gets all bold and grabs Y/n's face. Nagisa starts leaning and Y/n thinks they're about to kiss. 

||Y/n's P.o.v||

Okay so apparently Nagisa never got to hear my confession, and everything after that was just a big misunderstanding...Let me explain.

{Flashback}

"Oh hey, there you guys are!" I heard Karma say from the bottom of the hill.

I looked at him confused before looking back at Nagisa, the fireworks had stopped, so I couldn't see his face anymore, but I think he was smiling,

"You had something on your face! Sorry!" He exclaimed before pulling his hands back.

I looked back at Karma, and noticed Kayano was with him too. That's when it clicked in my brain, We were all supposed to be watching the fireworks together!!! I mentally face palmed as Karma took a seat beside me,

"So, what did you guys do while we were looking for you?" He asked smugly.

My face heated up and I covered my faced with my hands,

"Nothing!" I exclaimed.

I could practically feel Karma's smirk, but I ignored him. Now was not the time.

Once we were all settled, I slowly, but surely peeled my hands away from my face to watch the rest of the fireworks. I ended up not having too bad of a time. Afterwards, somehow Nagisa and I ended up walking to the train station alone. The walk was still kind of awkward and quiet, but then Nagisa spoke up,

"So uhh...we never really got to talk..." Nagisa said.

I nodded my head and stared at the ground, flustered. He cleared his throat a bit and continued,

"Honestly...I feel like I haven't seen you in a long time, it's like you've been avoiding me or something...I never got to talk to you about the night on the roof...The last time we talked was on the last day of the trip."

I blushed more as I recalled the time I literally clung onto his arm for dear life even though I was trying to avoid him,

"Yea..." I said awkwardly.

"Anyways...there's something I need to come clean to you about that night...It's really been bothering me that I haven't gotten to tell you."

I started picking at my fingers in anticipation. What was he gonna say??

"Uhm...so on the night, on the roof..." He paused and sighed, "I didn't actually hear what you had to say...." He admitted.

I stopped in my tracks and looked at him. He looked kind of embarrassed, but I couldn't help but be excited,

"Really?!?! So on the roof, you didn't hear a word I said??" I asked him.

He shook his head no, and his eyes glided onto the floor,

"No, sorry...The chopper was too loud...." He told me.

I felt a fire be lit under me and I quickly grabbed him by his shoulders,

"Hey, don't you worry about that! It's all good!" I assured him.

He looked up at me, "Really?" He asked. I nodded my head at him,

"Of course!" I exclaimed.

"Oh well..." He rubbed his armand sighed a breath of relief, "That's a relief" He admitted.

I let go of him and nodded firmly. We both started walking again, there was a happy silence that loomed over the both of us,

"If you want, you can say it again." He suggested.

I dismissed him by waving my hand,

"Nah...the moment's past." I told him.

"Yea, that's reasonable. I figured that much..."

I smiled and started up at a sky,

"Don't you worry Nagisa! You'll find out soon enough!" I said to him.

I just can't believe it!! The universe has given me another chance to confess! I now feel whole again, and relieved. I still don't know how Nagisa feels and I get a do-over with my confession. After I told him how I felt I felt so empty, like my life had no purpose anymore, but now!! I'm all fired up and ready for round two!! I'll come up with the ultimate confession and tell Nagisa how I feel once and for all!!

It's September now, and it's still break, but for some reason I'm at school eating a bag of chips...I'd like to tell you why I'm here, but honestly I have no clue. I got a text, so now I'm here. I stared up at the giant thing covered in orange tarps and wondered what it was for. Given the information we had, I could only assume that it was a--

"Yep! We're going to make one ginormous pudding! I call it...Operation pudding Pudding Popper!" Kayano exclaimed to our class.

"Operation Pudding Popper? Koro Sensei does have a sweet tooth..." Nagisa commented.

"About that!" Kayano exclaimed, "I've already obtained a crucial confession!"

Kayano briefly remember some kind of memory of Koro Sensei, before she turned towards what I assumed to be a giant pudding mold,

"Let's make his impossible dream come true!" She exclaimed once more, "Frankly I'd like to eat some, too!"

My stomach growled as I stared into my empty bag of chips. I grumbled a bit in hunger, 'I could totally go for some pudding right about now too...' I thought.

Lmao guys I was just chilling at my house like, 'this is so cool! I literally have nothing to do today' and then randomly I remembered that I didn't post any new chapters! I thought today was Friday for some reason smh!! So yea, here's my late post.
