okie cat10023 requested a part two and anxiety_banana said they wanted ani meeting starla so "here we go again, huh?" (someone pls stop me. i cannot stop quoting the first tfatws episode and trailers)

"If you aren't too busy right now, you can come meet her," Ahsoka spoke shyly as they walked to the register.

"I've got a few minutes, yeah," he answered with a smile, handing his credits to the cashier as the man slid his bag over to him.

"I live just across the street in that complex over there," she said, pointing through the clear doors as she paid for her own items.

"You've really got your whole life figured out, don't you?" he chuckled as they exited the building, swinging his grocery bag back and forth.

Ahsoka actually laughed at that. They crossed the street and she muttered,

"Yeah, right." She pulled her building door open and sauntered through the lobby and to the elevator. "I've basically been winging it for the past two years," she said with a shrug as they stepped in.

"If I know you, I know that you're doing a great job," he replied with a wink.

"You really think so?"

"Of course."

With a ding, the elevator doors slid open. Ahsoka pulled a keycard out of her pocket.

"Know what this reminds me of?" Anakin mused, looking down. Ahsoka sighed, nodding her head.

"When we had to investigate about Letta Turmond." A dark look passed over her face as she swiped the card, and pulled the door open.

"Yeah... you know, I was never... angry with you for leaving."

"Really? I would've been," she chuckled, hanging her jacket on the hook on the back of door. "Don't bother," she said as he made to take his boots off.

"I was more lonely than anything," he admitted quietly. "I missed you, Snips."

She tilted her head to the side as she looked up a him.

"I'm sorry. Not just for leaving you then, but after Mandalore too. It wasn't supposed to be personal, but I feel like I let you down twice," she sighed.

"Ahsoka, you could never let me down. I know that you did what you had to do, and if that meant leaving me, then so be it. I just want you to be happy."

Ahsoka's eyes shone suspiciously wet as she smiled up at him.

"I don't deserve to have a brother like you," she laughed quietly. "Thank you."

"Of course. Now, where's my niece?" he asked, bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet. Ahsoka turned around, waving him to follow behind her as she walked to a small door.

She knocked a few times, and a voice from behind it quickly called,

"Coming!"

It swung open to reveal a very worn-out looking Lux Bonteri, a little girl on his hip. It was clear that she had a closer resemblance to her father, as most of her features reflected that of a human.

Her eyes, though, were identical to Ahsoka's, and faded white lines laid on each of her cheeks, beginning to take the form of markings.

She reached for her mother, and Lux was a bit too quick in handing her off. His eyes made contact with Anakin's stern expression, and he puffed his chest out a bit as he stood up straighter.

"Did you help Daddy get a lot of work done?" Ahsoka asked, bouncing the girl up and down until a smile broke out on her face.

"Lux," Anakin grumbled in a low voice. Lux swallowed, nodding his head in a greeting.

"Er- Master Skywalker. It's good to see you again."

Anakin just hummed in response, not returning the compliment. Ahsoka bit back giggle, nudging Anakin in the side.

His darkness instantly cleared as he looked down at his niece and sister. Ahsoka held Starla out to him, and he quickly took her.

She looked somehow smaller against his broad shoulders, blue eyes blinking curiously up at him.

"Hi," he cooed.

"Starla, this is your Uncle Ani," Ahsoka said brightly. Lux smiled at the sight, keeping his distance slightly. "He doesn't mind it if you call him Skyguy, though."

"Um, does he get a say in this?" Anakin joked, raising his eyebrows as he looked over Starla's head and to Ahsoka.

She smirked, stepping forward to pat her hand against Anakin's shoulder, repeating the word 'Skyguy' three times in a row.

"Not this again," Anakin groaned, rolling his eyes.

"Skyguy?" Starla peeped quietly. Anakin's eyes widened, and he looked down at her, brushing a tuft of dark hair from her forehead.

"Yeah!" he exclaimed in a high voice. Ahsoka and Lux laughed, and Starla let out a bubbly giggle as she patted his shoulder the same way that her mother had.

Anakin's eyes fell on the chrono on the wall, and reacted by widening greatly.

"I've got to get back home," he muttered. Ahsoka frowned.

"You'd better come back and visit," she grumbled. He nodded with a warm smile.

"I will."

"And bring the rest of the gang with you too," she replied.

"You sure you're ready to see them?"

Ahsoka took Starla from her uncle, wrapping him in an awkward side hug, before confidently answering,

"Positive."
