GUYS I FINALLY REMEMBERED THAT IT WAS MONDAY. SO NOW I CAN DO A HEADCANON CHAPTER. CUZ I KEPT FORGETTING CUZ I DONT KNOW THE DAYS OF THE WEEK OVER THE SUMMER.

"But Dooku trained Master Qui-Gon and Ventress," Ahsoka said.

"Uh huh," Anakin replied absentmindedly, flesh hand holding a tablet as he scrolled through what he'd already written of his report.

"And that would make them like siblings, right?" she continued, her question rhetorical.

"Yes, it would," Anakin answered, eyes focused only on the writing while his padawan talked his ear off. As usual.

"And if Master Qui-Gon and Ventress are siblings, and Obi-Wan would technically be Master Qui-Gon's son because he was his padawan, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"I'm thinking that no one really thinks like you, my young padawan," he sighed with a smile, feeling her lift her head from his shoulder for a moment, readjusting her position from where she was tucked under his metal arm, his hand rubbing up and down from shoulder to wrist while he typed with the other one.

"Well, Master Kenobi tends to talk to Ventress like he's... y'know... flirting with her." She paused, waiting for Anakin to catch on to what she was trying to say.

"And?" he asked.

Ahsoka rolled her eyes, knowing full well that he was hardly paying any attention to a single word that she said.

She had, of course, become used to this by now. In the month that she had been his padawan for, her master had quickly realized that she talked a lot. He was always happy to listen to whatever crazy idea that she had come up with, or gossip that she had heard around the temple, but he usually wasn't all there while she spoke. He just seemed to enjoy the company.

Ahsoka didn't mind at all, however. Anakin had teased that she could talk to a wall and not get bored.

"And, if Master Qui-Gon's sister is Ventress, and his son is Master Kenobi, that makes Ventress his aunt. Kind of," she finished, looking up at Anakin to catch his reaction.

"Huh," he said, finally pulling his eyes from the screen. He furrowed his eyebrows. "I've never thought about it like that. Obi-Wan's been flirting with his aunt."

"Exactly!" Ahsoka exclaimed.

Anakin laughed, shaking his head.

"How in the universe did you even think of that in the first place?" he asked, back at his steady typing.

"I'm smart," she said with a cheeky smile.

"Well, how'd you get to be so smart?"

"Certainly not from you."

He rolled his eyes, chuckling softly.

"And you wonder why I call you Snips."

if you need me, i will be watching obx season 2 again in search of things that i can turn into one shots. i have so many ideas AHHH
