23 HER PUNISHMENT

Xander began to unbuckle his belt.

Betrayal.

This day was theirs. Supposedly.

Noleen let out a nervous laugh. "Nagpapatawa ka ba?"

Lumapit si Xander. Bakit ganito? Iba ang tingin nito sa kanya.

When he noticed her shock, Xander stopped from whatever he was doing. But he moved closer to her. One menacing step at a time.

"U-umayos ka, Xander," pagbabanta ni Noleen at nagtaas ng kilay at boses.

Pero tila ba walang narinig si Xander. Nagpatuloy ito sa paglapit habang diretsong nakatingin sa kanya.

His eyes were still blank and emotionless.

He warned her. "Do it now o gusto mong ako pa maghubad sa 'yo?" sabat nito at mas lumapit pa kaya napaatras si Noleen. She felt the soft mattress behind her and swallowed hard in utter nervousness.

"You're insane. Get out!" natatarantang sigaw ni Noleen nang ilang hakbang na lang ang layo ng asawa mula sa kanya.

"I'm your husband and it's time for you to play your role. Am I right, wife?"

Ilang roles na ba ang ginawa ni Xander para kay Noleen? Ilan pa ba ang gagawin niya sa hinaharap? He wanted to teach her a lesson. And at the same time, he was doing this as payback for what she made him do.

This was supposed to be their day together. He was looking forward to it. But his great wife—his cruel but beautiful wife—betrayed him.

Goddamnit.

Nang hindi pa rin kumilos si Noleen, marahas siyang tinulak ni Xander sa kama. Hindi pa siya nakakaimik ay mabilis nang pumaibabaw ang lalaki sa kanya.

She gasped when she felt his weight and massive body on her. Hindi siya makakilos. His body was pinning her down.

"Why are you doing this?" Noleen asked as soon as she found her voice. Nagpupumiglas siya. Pilit na kumikilos pero binalewala ito lahat ni Xander.

"Because it's fun?" he said sarcastically. "Because maybe you'll get famous if I do this?" Sinimulan nitong halikan ang leeg ng asawa. Ipinaling ni Noleen ang ulo sa kabila, but he only placed his lips on her exposed neck and began sucking her skin.

Tinutulak niya ito sa balikat pero sa bawat pagtulak niya, mas lalong nagmamatigas at bumibigat ang katawan ni Xander.

Using his body weight, he pushed her harder against the bed. Napasinghap si Noleen, her eyes widened, she stared up the ceiling when she suddenly felt the pressure of his tongue on her flesh.

It was not enough for Xander, he pulled her vest down and dragged his lips to the skin near her breasts. Tinupok niya ng halik ang asawa mula sa leeg pataas sa pisngi nito at muling binalik sa leeg.

Noleen let out a whimper. Iniangat niya ang sarili para lumayo sa mapanuksong labi ng asawa, pero nagulat siya when he roughly grabbed her hair and harshly pulled it down. Her shocked eyes locked with his cold ones.

"You're not going anywhere," Xander growled at her. "Araw natin ito, 'di ba, Miss Noleen?"

Xander Marudo had snapped. He was consumed by his blinding rage to the point of hurting her.

Taas-noong hinarap ito ni Noleen. She was trying to keep her cool, to keep her damned heart from racing wildly in her chest.

Sana hindi ito naririnig ni Xander, she pleaded in her mind.

Lakas-loob na inirapan ni Noleen ang asawa. "Tapos na ang araw, Xander."

"Gano'n ba?" Xander furiously tugged her hair down and leaned in to give her a cruel kiss. Sinabunutan nito si Noleen habang mariin siyang hinahalikan.
