I could feel a vibration on my bed as I slept. It eventually woke me up so I looked.

It was Sam. I must be asleep still. I answer it, not knowing what's going on.

"Hello?" I ask answering the phone. I look at the time to see it was four in the morning. Half an hour until I needed to wake up.

"Hey, Stella. I know it's late but I was hoping you could do something for us." I could hear the strain in his voice.

They must be filming. "Is everything okay?" I ask as I look around.

"Something happened with the hotel we're staying at and Colby's freaking out. All he told me was to call you." He did sound worried.

I was curious about what had happened. "I was wondering if we could come over and stay at your apartment just for a few hours."

I debated on this. Why should I help them? I haven't heard from him in two months.

"Stella, please. You're the only person I know that can help Colby pull himself out of this." He pleaded.

I hated hearing Sam talk like this. It brings back my urge to protect Colby.

I sigh as I shake my head. "I'll send you my address. Just try to be quiet because Ashton is asleep in his room." I give in.

I don't even know why I'm doing this. I could hear Sam sigh in relief.

"Thank you so much. I really appreciate it." We say our goodbyes and hang up the call.

I send him the address as I turn a light on in my room. Good thing Dylan didn't stay the night.

He would've but he didn't have any extra clothes with him.

I paced in my room while I waited for them to show up. Ten minutes later, I got a message on my phone saying they were here.

He asked if he could come up to talk to me about Colby. I agreed so I put my hair up in a bun.

I hear a light knock so I went to the door. I open it to see Sam looking at me.

He looked about the same. It's weird seeing him in person. Last time I saw him, he was encouraging me to talk to Colby about my job.

"Hey." I say stepping aside. He came in and looked around quickly. I can tell he was a little shaken up.

"Is everything okay?" I ask whispering to him. Ashton was going to wake up soon.

We have the living room light on so I could see him. Sam sighed before speaking to me.

"We went to a haunted location here in town and things went out of hand." I looked at him questionably.

I cross my arms as I look at his hand to see he was shaking. "As we were doing the Estes Method, something happened." He spoke.

I know the Estes method from the Conjuring video. It's where you put noise canceling headphones into a spirit box.

The spirit box picks up words from a close by radio station. After seeing their reactions from the Conjuring house, I believe it works.

You ask a question and it answered. Whoever the receiver was, would say it out loud.

"Okay, what happened?" I ask looking at him. He took another deep breath.

"He was on the receiver so I was asking questions. Before I could ask another question, it said a name." What does this have to do with anything.

"Whose name?" I ask confused. He didn't say anything.  He just gave me a look.
