"And, done," Sophia said. She and Collin simultaneously closed their textbooks. Sophia looked up at Collin. Collin looked back at her. "Shall we go on a walk?" Sophia asked.
"Yes, we shall," Collin replied. Collin took Sophia's hand in his own and they set off towards the clearing.
When they arrived, Sophia turned to Collin and looked him in the eyes. Then she kissed him, long and slow at first before becoming more intense. Then she backed away from him. Sophia looked at him with a smile on her face, but Collin could tell something was wrong. "What is it?" he asked.
"I was just thinking about what Jackson had said the other day. Do you think he's going to try to get revenge?"
"He might, but I would never give you up without a fight. You mean the world to me."
"I feel the same."
Collin kissed her and Sophia kissed him back. They both knew that the other was their soulmate and that nothing would ever change that.
