Bailee had been at the BAU for a few weeks now, she was closest with Garcia since she spent the most time with her but very slowly started to talk to the other members of the team. They were glad that she had started trusting them but would notice when one got too close her full body would instantly tense. Bailee didn't want to jinx it, but she liked working at the BAU there was only one issue that she hated. Waking up early. Which led to Hotch or Derek ringing her just like today.
"Urghhhh" Bailee answered the phone.
"I would think you loved that bed more than me" Derek joked. "Why would you think it when you know it's true" Bailee stated.
"Ouch Lee I thought we were friends"
"Lee? And we were till you decided to wake me up at four thirty in the morning" Bailee looks at her new phone to see what the time was.
"Yeah, your new name and you should know why I'm calling, we've got a case"
"Urghhh. Why do I do this job" Bailee groans.
"Emm Mini baby girl you hacked the pentagon that's why"
"Yea yea whatever I'll see you soon" Bailee says before hanging up the phone.
Bailee may have started to trust them, but she doesn't like to talk about hacking the pentagon. It was a time in her life she wished she could forget. Shaking her head from her dark thoughts she got ready for work.
Bailee had just gotten to the office floor when Garcia messaged her to meet her at Spencer's and Emily's Desk. Turning back around to see them looking at old photos of themselves. As Bailee got closer she could hear their conversation.
"This is especially sad, though." Garcia holds a photo in front of her as Prentis takes it from her.
"All right, very funny guys, very funny what did you do to it" Emily says. "Do to it?" Garcia asks.
"Hey guys" Bailee shyly waves to them.
"Hello, my little hacker, do you have some photos from when you were younger that you'd like to share" Garcia says.
Bailee sticks a blueberry lollypop in her mouth while shaking her head. The others are surprised with technology these days it should have been easier to take photos and save them.
"Oh, come on you must have some that your parents took, your firsts as a baby, school events, holidays, things like that" Garcia adds.
Bailee opens a Redbull and then answers "Strauss didn't tell you guys?" the others are confused but before they can ask spencer speaks.
"Bailee you do know those are dangerous" He points to the Redbull can.
"Swallowing gum is dangerous yet people still do it" She shrugs and takes another drink.
"Anyways, what did you mean about Strauss didn't tell us?" Emily asks.
"I was hoping you forgot about that" Bailee smile sheepishly.
