5 - Getting used to it

Let's say we're getting used to be public...
The first week after the announcement we've been followed by paparazzi around NY all the time.
Articles came out, luckily for us all positive, no one has made rude comments so far.
I've been a little nervous but Kim always reminded me that it would have happened anyway, the only thing I'm thankful for is that it happened now that I'm not that famous so it's gonna be a bit easier...

"Do you want more salad?"
"Oh no, thanks Linda"
It's Sunday and we're at Kim's parents for lunch, my mom and her husband are here too
"So are you ready for the premiere son?"
"Uh...I guess I am Mark..."
"The movie will do great, I know it. And I also can't wait to see it" he continues
"Thanks"
My mom made my fave's dessert from when I was a kid, Papanasi, they're basically cheese doughnuts with blueberry jam on top, delicious!

Kim puts her hand on my leg and I hold it under the table as we keep chatting with our parents
"So..." Linda says getting up and starting to clear the dishes, I get up too to help "when are you two going to make us grandparents?" She asks
I look at Kim and her eyes go wide, I turn again and keep helping Linda
"Linda..." Mark tells his wife
"Sorry kids..."
"Uh it's okay" I say
At this point we're all standing and clearing the table
"We've been talking about it lately..." Kim says
"Oh yeah?" My mom asks
"Yup"
"So I guess sometime next year. I still have to get off the pill and we can't know how long it'll take"
"You two know I just asked for curiosity, don't feel pressured"
"We know momma" Kim says
I watch as the three of them go into the kitchen as I stay back with Anthony, my stepfather, and Mark.
"You'll be a great dad" Anthony says patting my shoulder as he sits next to me
"I hope so"
We keep on talking about the premiere with the two of them, the we switch on the tv and occasionally I look over Instagram.

Pretty useless to say once my mom, Georgeta and I got into the kitchen we talked more about the fact that Sebastian and I have been talking about growing the family.
My mom washed the dishes, Georgeta dried them and I put them away.
As I sit on the counter I open Instagram and see what people posted and post myself

While mom makes coffee for everyone I get a text

We go to the living room where the men are sitting watching tv.
I sit on Seb's lap facing him, his arms go immediately around my waist. I lay my head on his shoulder and get comfy
"Thank you"
"For what doll?"
"Making sure I get a dress I like for the premiere"
"Love you baby girl" he whispers in my ear, which makes me smile and cuddle more into him
