It is finally June...it's baby month! Actually, he should have been here a week ago, Kim, as of today, is 41 weeks pregnant...and boy she doesn't like it.

After regaining my breath I quickly take the sheets off the bed and put them to wash them join Kim in the shower.

After a few hours it's almost time for dinner and I decided to make a quick pasta with some tomato sauce, easy peasy!
"Shit, Seb?" I hear her say from the living room
"Yes?" I ask as I walk there
"I'm pretty sure my contractions have started"

"I thought I felt something two hours ago but I dismissed it, now they're definitely here" she says leaning on the kitchen counter once we reached it
"Ok, everything is in the car we should go" I say smiling
"Yeah...let's go meet our baby!"
I help her in and as I drive she calls both our parents and they tell us they'll meet us at the hospital in about thirty minutes even though we told them not to cause this might take a while...
We also called ahead her gynecologist so he could get ready to visit her once we're at the hospital.

When we arrived the staff checked us in after we gave them all the documentation, after a first visit from her doctor they moved her to a labor and delivery room.
"How are we doing in here?" Linda asks stepping in, behind her my mom and then Mark with Anthony.
"All good so far, contractions are regular, becoming closer..." Kim says smiling at our parents
"Sebastian?"
"Yeah I'm good, thanks Mark"
After a few minutes I'm able to reach Mel on the phone
"So Mel said she's leaving in ten minutes, she hopes she'll be here around midnight and before the baby"
"Ok!" She says happily

Fast forward six hours Mel has arrived in record time and Kim has been pushing for about fifteen minutes. Both our moms and Mel are in the delivery room with us while the grandads are waiting outside.
"No...I can't do it anymore..."
"Yes you can sweetheart" Linda says
"Come on bestie" Mel says wiping away the sweat that formed in Kim's forehead
My moms kisses her cheeks and whispers something in her ear
"Baby doll, I know you got this, I'm sure of it! You're the strongest woman and you've got this ok? Just keep going, keep pushing, he'll be here soon ok?"
"Yeah..."
"Te iubesc printesa!" (I love you princess)
"Love you too"
She keeps pushing for five more minutes and finally our baby boy is in her arms, I cut the umbilical cord and as the doctors clean Kim up and help her push out the placenta she does some skin to skin.

"He's beautiful, and you did so good baby" I say to Kim once she's all done and changed in a new gown
"He is, wanna hold him?"
"Yeah"
I make sure my arms are positioned correctly the she lays him in my arms, best feeling in the world!
