~ Chapter 15~

" Tu vaha kya kar rahi hai Vaidu? "Aarzaan asked.
" Bhai.. Woh..
" Itna taam jham kyu hai aas pass? "Parth said.
" Us chipkali ki shadi hai kya? " Ruh asked. " I hope use koi chipkala hi mila ho. " She continued.
" Guyyysss stopp!  Ab meri baat suno! "Vaidehi stopped them.
" Thik hai! Bol" Aarzaan persuaded.
" Ok guys! Take it calmly ok!" Vaidehi tried calming the matters as she continued, "Actually.. Woh.. Baat yeh hai ki..
"Bata na Vaidu" ,Parth said.
" Bina hichkichaye bata Vaidu! "Aarzaan said.
" Woh.. Bhai.. Woh!  Ok promise me, aap log naraz nahi honge, aur ghussa toh bilkul nahi karenge! "Vaidehi said.
" Thik hai! Ab bata" Parth said.
" Promise kijiye pehle! "
" Thik hai ...thik hai...!"
"Promise!! All three of them on the other side said.
Frankly, all three of them, that's Aarzaan, Parth and Ruhanika could sense the tension around.
" Shaadi meri hai!" Vaidehi blurted out.
" Whatt!!"
"Aise kaise! "
"Jabardasti kar rahe hai na woh log! "
" Tu keh kya rahi hai! "
" Agar yeh jabardasti hai toh bata! I promise chodunga nahi unko! "
" Ha vaidu!!! "
" Bhaii.. Please calm down! Aur meri baat dhyaan se suniye! Ha shaadi meri hi ho rahi hai aur woh bhi kaal.. Ha haa jaanti hu! Bohot der kar di batane mei, par bhaii i was so very busy ki time hi nahi mila! Aur shaadi meri marzi se ho rahi hai! " Vaidehi said.
"Tu jhoot bol rahi hai! " Aarzaan, said or rather declared.
" Nahii bhai! I know aap log shocked ho, aur isliye you'll are finding it difficult to believe, par I am not being forced into this. Bhai, meri life mei koi nahi hai, and arranged marriage had always been my thing! Aur ladka bhi accha hai toh I don't see any problem!", Vaidehi hated lieing to them, but she had no way out.
" Par Vaidu, phirr bhi!  Teri umar hi kya hai shaadi karne ke liye! You have an entire life ahead! Aur shaadi ke faisle aise jaldbaazi mei nahi lete na! " Ruhanika said.
" Koi jaldbaazi nahi ki hai Ruh!. "Vaidehi said.

There was a brief moment of silence. Nobody knew what to speak.

After a while Aarzaan said, " Hum ghussa toh hai! Hum teri life mei kitne important hai, we know it very well, aur phir bhi tu hume ab bata rahi hai! That's hurtful.. Really hurtful!
Par agar tu khush hai iss shaadi se, agar tujhe uss ladke ke sath apna future dikta hai! Toh we are more than happy with this! "
" Ha vaidu! Hume sirf itna chahiye ki tu khush rahe! You have already seen a lot, now you just deserve happiness baccha! ",  Parth commented.

" Aap log sach mei naraz nahi ho na? "Vaidehi asked.
" Thode hai! Par agar tu Ruh ko shaadi mei apna naagin dance nahi karne deni toh I'll be fine with it! " Aarzaan tried lightning the environment. He knew something was seriously wrong, he could feel it. But he also knew the fact that it was useless pestering Vaidehi.

" Haaahhhh! Aarzaan Kashyap, mei aacha dance karti hu! Did you get it! Aur kaal toh mei dance karungi! Dekhna tum! "Ruhanika argued.

Parth and Vaidehi had genuine smiles on their faces, as both Aarzaan and Ruhanika continued their romantic bickering.

" Toh thik hai, kaal milte hai! " Saying this the video call went off.

Abhishek was sitting inside his room, with his wife Amaira.

" Kya huya? Kya soch rahe hai aap? " Amaira asked.
" Pata hai! Usse iss ghar se dur karne ke liye, iss shaadi ke liye haa karne ke liye, meine hi force kiya! Par pata nahi kyu ab jab shaadi kaal ho rahi hai! Toh ek becheni si lag rahi hai! " Abhishek said.

" Shaadi ke ghar mei yeh sab feel karna usual hai! Aur waise bhi aap pure din yeh-woh kaam mei hi lage reh the hai na. Toh iss liye laag raha hoga! Chaliye sote hai, tomorrow is going to be more hectic!" Amaira said.

"Hmm" Saying this both of them laid on the bed and slept.

(In Yaduvanshi Mahal)

The Mahal was bustling. All preparations for taking the grand procession towards the Ranawat villa was done! All the guests, villagers.. Everybody was invited.

~ In Soumyawati's Room~

"Dadisa, hume aapse kuch baat karni hai! " Rutvendra said.
" Par hume aapse koi baat nahi karni! Kaal apki shaadi hai, aapko aaram karna chahiye! " Soumyawati said.
" Dadisa hum jaante hai aap iss shaadi se khush nahi hai! " Rutvendra said.
" Bilkul! Bilkul khush nahi hai hum! Jis ladki ko aap humari bahu banakar la rahe hai! Usske haal, chaal,vyavhaar sab Yaduvanshiyo ki naukrani ki tarah hai! Hum Rani chahte the Rutvendra! Par aap nei toh khud ki manmarzi hi karli! "

"Dadisa! Hum aapse kuch kehna chahte hai..

It was midnight,Vaidehi had laid herself on the bed, but sleep was far away from her eyes! She dreaded the day that was following.

~Next day~

The day was as usual! But the Ranawat villa was in a choas! Everybody was doing something or the other! Guests had started to pour in! The elders were addressing the guests! While the youngsters were checking the preparations for the very last time.

Vaidehi's room was an utter mess! The hair stylist, makeup artist were showcasing their art on her! While she sat still, like a lifeless doll!

She was ready! Physically- Yes! Mentally- a big No.

Abhishek along with Amaira came in to have a look at her!
They were at the doorway, when Abhishek saw her. All dolled up in the lehenga, she was looking so pretty!
Involuntarily tears had formed in Abhishek's eyes! His little sister who used to roam the villa on his back was going to get married! No matter how much he despired her, but at that moment he felt the same way, like any brother would feel!

Abhishek wished his parents, specially his baba should have been there! He should have watched his little Vaidu, all ready as a bride. But alas! He couldn't.

His thoughts were interrupted when, Shreesh and Saanika  came and said it out loud that, " Baarat aah chuki hai!"

Saanika then came near Abhishek and said, " Bhai dadusa ne kaha hai, unne niche leker aane ke liye! "
