Lyra's POV :
It was the next morning, the ball started in the late evening.
We all just finished breakfast.
I was with Jessica and Eliana in my room, while we got ready to go shopping.
Marcus and Ezra didn't know, they were in the living room, with the others.
"Done." Said Jessica, she looked better than yesterday, she was healing.
We decided to sneak out, and we'll be meeting Pansy and Astoria there.
We quietly crept downstairs and were almost at the door, when.
"And where are you off to?" I grimaced at the voice.
Kayla.
"Mind your business Amanders." Said Jess
"I am, since I caught you, it's now my business."
I hated this bitch with all my heart, maybe even more than Mattheo.
"We're going to a party." Said Eliana, while Jess and I turned to her confused and Kayla raised an eyebrow.
"Really?" She asked.
"Would we lie to you?" Eliana smirked.
Kayla frowned.
"You don't look dressed for a party." She said
"We'll change later, in case we get caught." Jess played along.
"Why can't the others come?"
Jess and Lia shared glances.
"Because it's a girls outing." I said
"So, it's just you three?"
"Yes" I said.
She looked tempted to go, but she knows how much we don't like her.
"Can we trust you to keep this a secret?" Asked Eliana.
"And why would I do that?"
"Because...." I paused "if you tell everyone, they'll want to come and Mattheo won't be able to pay all his attention to you." I said, keeping an innocent face, while Eliana smirked and Jess bit the inside of her cheek while trying hard to hide her laughter.
She seemed to think for a second.
"Fine." She said
"Really?" Jess asked sort of confused, as she gave in this easy.
"Yeah, but it's not because I like you, it's because I don't care." She said and walked away, like some prissy little girl.
Eliana scoffed and Jessica pace palmed herself while I rolled my eyes.
We left the manor and once we were out, we apparated
