Chapter 39

Nevan's pov

I woke up to the door opening to see your parents walk in. I look down at my watch to see it is nine o'clock. I looked where I was sleeping to see I was sleeping in the chair while holding Luke's hand.

Talia is sleeping in the chair with Guinevere on her chest and she is holding Guinevere and Luke's hand.

"Have you been sleeping in that chair the whole night?"Lee-von-d asked

"Yeah. We fall asleep."I said while cracking my neck.

"Let's go get coffee with you and me."my mom said

I kissed Luke, Guinevere, and Talia. I walked with my mom to the cafe they have here.

"How does it feel to have Luke call you dad?"My mom asked

"I like it. Guinevere and Luke make me happy."I said

"Well, you should be happy. You have two kids now. You got a new house and pickup truck that your brother loves."My mom said

I just smiled at my brother.

"What do you think of the new house?"I asked

"I love it. It is much bigger and there is a lot of space. We took a guest bedroom on the main floor. Joseph and Lee-von-d also took a bedroom on the main floor. I do love the kitchen."My mom said

"I love the house. It is closer to you all, my work, Talia's work, the daycare, and the high school we are going to send Luke to."I said

"Are you sending him to your old high school?"My mom asked

"Yes. It has the sports he wants and the education is fantastic."I said

We grabbed the coffee and walked back into the room. We walked into the room and Talia was awake.

"Hello, sexy," I said and I kissed Talia on her lips.

"Hey, handsome," Talia said

I handed her the coffee and she took a sip. I sat back down and we drank your coffee while talking. We spoke about the house and the high school Luke will be going to. Joseph has friends there so he has been telling people we have two kids some of the teachers want to meet them but Joseph did not tell them why they can't see the two kids.

Guinevere woke up whining so Talia stood up and placed Guinevere on one of the beds so she could change the dirty diaper.

"Babe, can I ask you please to get one of the nurses so they can bring a baby bath?"Talia asked

"Yes, I can do that," I said

I stood up and walked to the nurse station.

"Sorry to bother you but can I please get a baby bath in room 111?"I asked

"I will bring it now for you sir."The nurse said

I walked back into the room and Talia was breastfeeding Guinevere who was sucking fast. I walked over to them and Guinevere smiled when she saw me.

"Hello, pumpkin. Is that milk yummy?"I asked

Guinevere grunted and she went back to sucking. I kissed Guinevere on her cheek and she put her hand on my nose.

"Yes, that is my nose," I said

Guinevere just smiled and let go of my nose. I just smiled and put my arm around talking while we both looked at Guinevere who was drinking the milk. The door opened up and the nurse brought in the baby bath. My dad helped me with the bath. We took everyone's phone and started playing a video of colors changing. I got my phone and started playing some jazz music.
