(Islanders was there to show how twisted grandfather was especially with the birth of Azeezat. Also if she was a boy, I have a feeling he would have pushed to keep the child in the family and since Marcella was a girl.... there was no point)
Epilogue ( read the islander's epilogue first before this one)
Tobi listened to his sisters scream at the top of her lung as he walked away from his study.
He didn't have to kill the old man himself, that was the plan. Tobi's hands were meant to be clean. He wanted his revenge on the both of them, for almost loosing his wife, his son and Ophelia.
He had to wait years for his plan to take place but it was all worth it in the end.
Tobi was going to withhold the information about her son for as long as he could for the boy's benefit.
He heard a gun shot as he turned to the hallway which made him stop.
He waited for an emotional response or feeling as the maids ran past him towards where the gun shot came from.
He turned around slowly unable to take a step forward as he watched them rushing into his study.
He turned and walked quickly towards the living area where his kids were to distract them from noticing anything.
Laila must have shot herself.
His phone rang and he took it out of his pocket to see the caller ID. It was his Remi. He kissed his sons head and stood up to step away from his kids.
'Just left your mom's. I am on my way home, is everything ok?' She said
'Yeah, I was just thinking' he said pausing to look at his kids play. 'we should move houses....I think I am ready now'
Just then he saw them rush Laila through the hallway on a stretcher.
He knew she was fine, Laila had always had poor aim. She loved life too much and knew very well what the afterlife had in store for her. Tobi knew she was in no rush to meet the devil again (grandfather).
'Tobi!!!' She screamed as they rolled her down the hallway. She screamed erratically at the horror of being taken back into the same psych ward the old man had publicly promised he would never make her go back to.
Tobi wasn't the old man but he definitely was going to be using his life's lessons
'Tobi!!!'
