KAILEY~

I step out of the cab, inhaling the cool evening breeze of Kuala Lumpur and admiring the beautiful city lights. My eyes land on Bukit Jalil National Stadium, where I'm pretty sure my buddies are in right now.

From where I'm standing, I give a devious smile. I'm back, bitches.

None of Irony Affairs, Flame Alyconia, or even my band's team is aware that I'm just a few kilometers away from them. I did tweet that Oliver will be doing the clean vocals in my place for Malaysia so nobody suspects a thing. Tweeting is a hasty thing to do, but I realize only now that it's a big help to my little surprise plan.

I have with me nothing but a backpack and a black hooded jacket. I draw my phone out of my pocket and text Brynn a message. I tell her to call me quick, and make sure nobody else hears the conversation.

After waiting for a few minutes my phone vibrates and I pick up. "Brynniepoop!"

"Kailey! Why does this conversation have to be private? Is something wrong?"

"No, I'm fine Brynnie," I say reassuringly. "Listen, I don't know my way around here. Meet me at the stadium's main entrance?"

"Wait, you're here?!" Brynn's voice suddenly rises in pitch, just like how I except she would do. Surprise is evident in her voice, but I need to remind her to keep it all to herself for the meantime.

"Shh, be sure nobody learns about this!"

"Oh, you foxy girl! I'm kinda occupied right now, meet you in fifteen minutes?"

"Sure."

"Okay!" I hear Brynn shriek out of excitement before she puts her phone down.

Feeling chilly from the winds, I wear my jacket and place it's hood over my head. I brush my hair back and gather them in a high ponytail so that my blonde strands won't draw much attention from people. If there's something I found out about my tour in Asia, it's that light-colored hair and eyes are rare among these people, and that if you have them, you will always be noticed.

It's not ideal for me to walk from this spot to the stadium's entrance without being swarmed by fans, for I have no bodyguards with me. To make up for the lack of security, I wear my favorite shades to hide a part of my visage. Oh dear, I feel like an assassin.

I am able to make it to the entrance without any hindrance. It feels so good to move freely without being crushed by a group of crazed up fans once in a while.

I wait for my best friend, and in exactly fifteen minutes she shows up but is unable to recognize me. I sneak behind her and to give her a surprise. Careful not to touch her skin, I whisper from behind, "Boo."

"What the hell!" she exclaims while placing a hand over her chest. "Kailey, what's with the get up?!"

"Because nobody knows I'm here. I don't want to give my identity away for now." I give her a wink. Brynn immediately gives me a tight embrace. "Whoa, somebody's missed me."

"We all did, Kaileypoop. Can't wait to see their faces when they see you!" I laugh along her then I notice a guy who was beside Brynn all this time, smiling while intently watching us.

Brynn immediately notices my puzzlement. "Kailey, he's one of the event managers here. You can't get inside if you are dressed that way, y'know."

I feel silly for thinking that this guy was actually harboring evil intentions to me and Brynn. I give him a smile which he returns and proceed to introductions. He thanks me for deciding to show up for Kuala Lumpur and says that he looks forward to how the crowd will react when I get to the stage. Believe me, I'm excited too.
