One month later...

"Lady Dorinda, where would you like these?", a florist lady name Betsy asked me and I turned around. She had three guys holding six vases two each with different color flowers.

I smiled and pointed where three round tables were, "Two on each please.",

She smiled and nodded and turned to them and said something in French and they nodded and started setting up.

Kayla came up to me with a smile, "Lucas is going to be so mad with you.", she giggled. "He told you no party and you go ahead and do it anyways.",

I put a hand on my hip, "Well, what would a birthday be without a party? He didn't have many and I thought it was nice thing to do. Even, if I had to have a party, he has to have one.",

She grinned, "Well, look at you. Breaking so many rules already.",

I rolled my eyes, "Hey, if he didn't make a law saying no party, then that'll be different...maybe. But if he doesn't like the party, well, he'll have to suck it up and deal. He's going to have one and we're going to hang out and dance.",

She looked around, "It's kind of weird. You know, going to a birthday party with no food and cake.",

"Well, actually, I got a cake.", I said and she raised an eyebrow. "All he has to do is blow out the candle. The cake going to be for my parents, King Canicus and his family, and King Tristan with his family.",

All six realms said they come, but since only out of six of them, only Were's and pixies can eat earth food.

She giggled, "That's going to be a lot of candles.",

I rolled my eyes again, "It's just going to be a two, zero, and four candle, dummy.",

"Wow, he's old.", she said and laughed her butt off. "You're getting married to an old man.",

I frowned at her. I don't like remember how old Lucas is because it really makes me feel like a gold digger. Young nineteen year old me who can't even drink on Earth getting married to two century year old man. But when I look at Lucas, he doesn't look older then twenty-five the most.

I walked passed her to go over to the table filled with food, "He's not that old...", I mumbled.

Kayla rushed up beside me and frowned, "I'm sorry, Dorinda, I didn't mean it like that.", she said. I took a cucumber and took a bite. She put a hand on my shoulder, "Hey, I'm sure he's going to love the party since it's coming from you.",

A one side smile formed on my lips, "I hope. He has no idea and I love that this'll be his first surprise party.",

"He will.", she said. "It's really special since it is coming from his fiancée who wants him to have a great time for turning another year older. So," she said and tease-y smile went on her face and I swear, I wanted to groan. "Going to give him exception-birthday-se--",

I gave her a annoyed looked and rolled my eyes, "No, I am not. Just because it's his birthday doesn't mean I'm going to have sex with him.",

She gave me a one side grin, "Didn't you two have sex on your birthday?",

My cheek burned up, "H-how do you know about that?",

"The night Cain first came he. After Lucas was done punching his face for admitting he might lov--yeah, you know, I cleaned his face up and he kept mumbling under his breath about you and how stupid it was for you two to sneak off to have sex.", she said and brushed her blonde hair backwards.

I cheeks burned more, "Oh...",

I felt upset when things came to Cain. I have only ever talked to him a few times after the whole thing at the bar and I miss my best friend. He's been doing nothing but training now and he's getting so much bigger. Why does he have to act like a child, though?
