Three days later...

Kayla leaped down on the bed next to me with a magazine in her hands and a big smile, "Check this out, Dorinda!", she said and held the magazine in front of us both. It was a picture of me and I was wearing an outfit I wore yesterday when I went out with Queen Arabella and Kayla to a park for Ariana. "Our Princess To Be!", she said as she read the headlines. I was on the swings with Ariana sitting on one of my legs as I swing us a little.

"Wow.", I said, looking down at the little comments around the front cover. They said 'Beautiful', 'She'll be WONDERFUL', 'Our Prince has found a good Princess and future Queen!', 'Best thing to come out since our beautiful Queen Arabella!',

"Everyone loves you.", Kayla said excitedly.

"Well, not everyone.", I reminded her. "Some still think I'm only with Lucas cause of his title. If I didn't love Lucas, I wouldn't be with him. Becoming a princess and queen actually scared the shit out of me.",

"And as long as you know that, you'll fine. I believe in you and so does everyone else.", she said and gave me a smile. "I believe in you, babe.",

I gave her a weak smile, "Thanks.". I frowned again, "Kayla, what if I mess up? What if--what if I'm no good? What if I become a horrible princess? Xavienna was going to teach me class and how to be proper, but now, I'm stuck again. And what if I rule wrong when I become queen? What if I screw something up and everyone hates me? What if--",

She covered my mouth with her hand, "Okay, first, calm down. And your going to be fine, Dorinda. As long as Lucas will be by you side, you'll do nothing wrong. And after you come back from your honeymoon, a teacher will be here to teach you proper educate.",

I sighed when she pulled her hand away, "I know. It's just...it's scary.",

"I know--okay, maybe I don't know. But everything going to be fine. Lucas will be here for you.", she said. "You and Lucas are going to be a great king and queen.",

I gave her a small smile, "I hope your right.",

When she opened her mouth to speak, my phone went off. I got from my bed and picked up the phone that was next to my bed. I didn't even bother to see who it was, "Hello?",

Whoever it was gave a quick chuckle, "Music to my ears.",

I almost dropped the phone from my ear and a big smile appeared on my face, "Lucas?". Kayla face dropped in shock and she quickly got up from the bed and stood next to me and I held the phone between our ears.

"The one and only, Doe.", he chuckled and I giggled at his cockiness. "I'm coming home. I woke up a few hours ago and the doctors wanted to check me out. I'm one hundred percent better now. I'm in the limo now and I'll be there in twenty minutes.",

Oh thank God--I mean Lord, I thought.

I grin, "Why didn't anyone call my sooner?", I asked. "You totally surprised me.",

"I wanted to be the one to tell you. I heard you missed me.", he said and I could just imagine that grin on his face. "Is that true?",

"Maybe.", I teased.

He laughed, "They're telling me I have surprised when I come home. No one would drop hints, though. I was scared at first that it would be actually a horrible thing like you...died.",

I frowned, "I'm sorry about your birthday, Lucas. I wanted to be a day for you to remember.",

"It's okay, Doe.", he said. "It was good before the chaos went down.",
